Lovely, semidetached bungalow, situated on a 1/2 an acre. Just 10 minutes walk from the popular, seaside resort of Killiney and Killiney Hill, Killiney Bay close by. It is said that Killiney Bay resembles the Bay of Naples, and the views of the cliffs from the summit are indeed breathtaking. The streets around the hills have been given Italian names to reflect the Naples comparison; the streets of Vico, Sorrento Terrace, Monte Alverno, San Elmo, Capri are home to Dublin's rich and famous, the most eminent of whom is, of course, Bono. Film director Neil Jordan, Enya and Jim Sheridan all have homes close by. Bring a pair of binoculars up the hill and see if you can spot any stars lounging around their estates. Dalkey, the heritage village, 1 mile, with its unique character, fine architecture and historic core. There is a wealth of amenities, fine restaurants, shops, art galleries within walking distance and excellent bus and rail via Killiney provide easy access to the centre of Dublin (only 9 miles by car or 35 min by dart).

Note: Pictures are of the surrounding area and are not taken from the house. Views from the house only include the garden.

Whether you like, walking, sailing, swimming, tennis, golf, cycling, shopping, cinema or just relaxing, Killiney and it's surrounding area has almost everything to offer you.

"Mixed experience"

The house is well situated, a short walk to Killiney and even Dalkey at a stretch. Although we didnt expect to see Michelle Obama we were disappointed that there was no view from the house as the ad shows. The property was generally well equipped but the bathroom was very dated and damp and hot water was limited to one shower in the morning. Overall good position but poor value due to state of the bathroom..
