This area is a Gaeltacht region, where Gaelic is the first language used by the local residents. The climate in Kerry is very mild and the southern part of Kerry has sub tropical conditions due to the warm Gulf stream and the south-westerly winds over the Atlantic Ocean

Further details indoors:
This year, 2006, the house has been entirely re-furbished so the farmhouse is up to date. The main focus of the house is the huge modern kitchen, the sitting room with large windows facing the McGillycuddy Reeks and the large garden. All is on one level so is child friendly. This was formerly a family home so has all the features sometimes lacking in a rent alone house.

Further details outdoors:
There is a working dairy and beef farm to the rear, owners will be more than obliged to show you around. There is also several scenic walks within access of the farmyard. The large landscaped gardens are at the front of the house, outside seating can be arranged
