The Cornwall region
The West Country / Cornwall region
North Cornwall is home to many beautiful beaches and fishing villages, popular with surfers but also perfect for cyclists and walkers. This part of England has been popular with families for years and has expanded to include adventure parks, farms and outdoor pursuit centres.
There is an abundance of activities for all the family such as the Milky Way and Big Sheep adventure parks, swimming, surfing, and much more.
Being based near Bude is ideal for exploring further afield with beautiful seaside towns and villages in the area include Boscastle, Padstow, Tintagel (home of King Arthur's Castle), Port Isaac (home to the TV programme 'Doc Martin'), Newquay, Bideford and Barnstaple.
The Bude / Kilkhampton area
The holiday park has an abundance of parkland and woodland which can be strolled around at leisure. Around the chalet itself, there is plenty of space for sunbathing.
Kilkhampton village is a 5-10 minute walk from the site. It has two family-friendly pubs serving good food, post office, two local stores and a few specialist shops, along with fish and chips, pizza and Chinese take-aways. There are many footpaths to follow to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The village of Kilkhampton is situated approximately 5 miles from the seaside town of Bude. It is three miles (5 minutes drive) from the beautiful Sandymouth Beach (with a National Trust cafe) and a further 5 minutes from the Duckpool Beach.
Bude also has plenty to offer. There are traditional seaside style shops selling buckets and spades and souvenirs; but there are also numerous art galleries, clothing boutiques, surf stores, New Age mystical shops, jewellers, delicatessen and convenience stores, newsagents, booksellers and a department store. There are several Post Offices, Banks, Estate Agents, Law firms and Petrol Stations too. The town centre has a Sainsbury's and a Co-Op, and Morrisons is just a few minutes away.
Bude is known to have great surfing and water sports, but there are also many more activities available such as walking, cycling, horse-riding, rock-climbing, abseiling, carting, fishing, golfing, pitch and putting, mountain boarding, ten-pin bowling, field archery and paint-ball.

"Fabulous place to stay!"
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday, accommodation was faultless! Everything you need for a home from home break with a modern and well equipped chalet. A bit of a shame there was no play park on site for the little ones (we found one about 10 minutes walk away from the chalet, in the village the day before we left). However everything else, including pool and entertainment was great and plenty to do in the surrounding area! The local village is within walking distance with a brilliant pub with huge fish tank in the beer garden to entertain the kids! I'd highly recommend it!

"Would definitely return"
We stayed for a week, the chalet was everything we needed. Plenty of room for a family of 4, a very well equipped chalet everything you could need was at hand. Very clean, very nicely decorated, one of the best chalets we have stayed in. The beds are really comfortable. The Manor Park was great, nice and quiet, very clean, with plenty of things on site to do. Restaurants and bars very good. Sandymouth beach just 10 mins away in the car, great for surfing. Our boys are 13 and 9 and they loved it. Really good base for north Cornwall, wish we could have stayed longer, would highly recommend .
