Home description
Built in a Moorish Arabic style, Villa Baoumontia offers total privacy and is family oriented. There are a total of 3 houses on this secure 6 acre property all with private pools and their own staff. The pool of Villa Baumontia will be extended and redeveloped in September 2006. From October 2006 the house will have a 9m infinity pool overlooking the Creek.
The house comfortably accommodates 6 guests in three double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, one of which is en suite. All bedrooms access a central courtyard with lush tropical foliage. Bedrooms comprise kingsize four poster beds with nets and ceiling fans.
The house has spacious rooms comprising, sitting room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, pantry, covered veranda plunge pool, alfresco dining and BBQ area.
The house is furnished to a high standard and is equipped with linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. In addition a laundry service is offered using an 8kg top loader washing machine. Additional freezer facilities are available in separate meat and fish freezers.

The Kenyan Coast region
Kilifi is a beach resort lying on the estuary of the Rare River in Kenya. The beach itself is known as Bofa Beach and is said to be one of the best beaches in Kenya. The town lies on the Kilifi Creek between Malindi and Mombasa.
The town is known for its beach and for the ruins of Mnarani, including mosques and tombs, dating from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century.
Conveniently located within a few hours drive of the Tsavo national game parks Kilifi can be used as a coastal base for a relaxing beach holiday combined with safari excursions.
Kilifi is home to a sociable arty/yachtie community who have built some fabulous properties overlooking the Creek and coastline. For many years the only means of crossing the creek was by ferry, but a bridge was recently built.

How to get there
- Fly to Mombasa or Malindi - Cheacp charter flights can be found through African Safari Club direct to Mombasa. Scheduled flights are also available through British Airways, Kenya Airways via Nairobi - Transfers and Safaris can be arranged on request - Local taxi services very cheap and very good for getting around locally. No need to hire a car

Further details indoors: Property includes 2 x full time staff - 1 maid and 1 cook who will cook clean and wash up after meals. A complementary laundry and ironing service is also provided. The property is normally rented on a self catering basis however all inclusive packages with a selection of menu items can be provided on request.
A full time nanny can be provided to assist with young children or babysitting at a small extra cost.
Mobile network reception is very good in Kilifi and an internet cafe is located in the town centre 2 km from Villa Baumontia.
Further details outdoors: Villa Baumontia is located in a secure private area of the owner's land. The property owner lives next door and will greet you on arrival and be on hand to help with any queries about shops, facilities, safaris or getting around in Kilifi.
The owner can also assist with arranging safari excursions for a few days as part of your holiday or as part of a larger safari tour of Kenya prior to arrival. Airport transfers can also be arranged through the owner on request.
