"Overrated, dingy, not that exciting."

Stayed here in September 2014 on holiday with 3 couples and 3 singles. Both king beds had springs sticking out of at least one side and are hard as a rock, One of the beds had a serious downwards ti… More

Thank you for your comments, which I feel are very over-stressed.
the House is a 350 year old tower, so of course it is not perfect and fully
modernised like a hotel. most of our customers and many of whom have returned
again and again appreciate the atmosphere and quirkiness of the building and the
old antique furniture. some of the windows have been closed for security reasons, but each room has at least one that opens, I could respond to all your negative comments ( and some I have taken on board- ie towels and beds), but I feel mainly, that you
missed the point of staying in a beautiful old property that had not been over modernised in order to retain its charm.
