The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers. Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
The Kidwelly area
Situated at the centre of South West Wales amidst a superb mix of rolling countryside, glistening seashores and tranquil woodland is the ancient coastal town of Kidwelly. With an imposing position on the ridge above the winding River Gwendreath, the local castle is well worth visiting, as is the fascinating Heritage Museum that gives visitors a chance to learn about the local area. The nearby Pembrey Country Park offers a wide selection of outdoor activities including horse riding and dry slope skiing. The beach at Cefn Sidan is within easy driving distance for family fun or relaxing, whilst the Celtic Trail Cycleway and the fascinating Wildfowl and Wetlands Park make wonderful places to enjoy the great outdoors. Ffos Las Racecourse, which grows more popular with each season, adds some thrills to your stay, while for those interested in climbing, the scenic Brecon Beacons are only a short drive away.

The standard of the accommodation was the highest I've ever encountered in the UK for a holiday-let. The owners converted the barns themselves with an excellent attention to detail. Very clean with tasteful contemporary decoration and extremely well equipped, also incredibly spacious. The extra wet-room bathroom and bedroom downstairs were ideal for the wheelchair user in our group. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely recommend these cottages to anyone.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
