The Central England / Cotswolds / Worcestershire region
Shropshire delights with its variety. Whether exploring the castle, narrow streets or fine dining of Ludlow, strolling by the river in medieval Shrewsbury or discovering delightful Church Stretton, Bridgnorth or Bishops Castle, you can be assured of plenty to see and sample. Even the museums and attractions are wide ranging; from the industrial investigations to ecologically informative nature centres, and even the chance to step back in time and visit a working Victorian village. Even the landscape alters, from the hills, heaths and deep wooded valleys of the Welsh borderlands to the magnificent, moorland scenery of the Long Mynd, while the beautiful Teme, Clu, Corve and Onny valleys host an amazing variety of wildlife. You can even take a walk on the wild side among the legendary Stiperstones, at Wenlock Edge and within the stunning Clee Hills.
The Kidderminster / Neen Sollars area
Cleobury Mortimer is a picturesque little town located at the heart of rural South Shropshire. An interesting choice of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found here, though the town is most well known for its unique church and its quirky crooked steeple. The famous heritage site of Ironbridge and its 10 museums is close by, as are the historic market towns of Bridgnorth and Ludlow, which has an amazing castle to explore. The Clee Hills and the Wyre Forest offer superb walking opportunities, and sports enthusiasts of all kinds are well-catered for with the number of horse riding, fishing and golf opportunities available in the local area.

Guestbook for 968 - Cider House
Cider House is located in a beautiful area surrounded by fields with horses and sheep. The surrounding villages and towns are beautiful and the walks around the area are wonderful. The cottage itself is amazing and we even got a homemade cake on arrival which was lovely!

,Total comfort and complete peace and quiet in wonderful surroundings. The cottage is beautiful and the owner has thought of everything for your enjoyment and needs. The best cottage we have ever rented and in a wonderful part of the country with an abundance of excellent oldie worldie Inns for good pub grub.

,A peaceful and secluded cottage set in a superb location. The accommodation just could not be faulted. Approached by a private farm track so no passing traffic to disturb the quietness, plus the bonus of a private garden which was perfect for our dog.
