Me and my boyfriend booked pixley cottage for my birthday weekend. It is LOVELY. I can't say enough good things about it! It was homely, cosy, warm, welcoming, set on LOVELY grounds where you can have a lovely walk. It was clean and had everything in there that you would need and more. I really didn't want to leave!!! The owners are so so friendly, will go out of their way to help and they even put me a birthday card through the door :o) Can't recommend enough and hopefully we will be back very soon!!! Thanks Bob and Shirley. xxxxx |

Beautifully furnished converted cottage in rural surroundings, once away from the road. They have used natural materials so there was stone flooring, and natural wood. It was clean and comfortable, lots of light and with extra small touches to make you feel at home. The owners made us feel really welcome and were helpful about places to eat out and visit in the area, genuinely warm people. There was so much to do we didn't have enough time and so will definitely visit again. We were impressed with the cottage and the surrounding area, the only drawback for us was the main road running past, we're not used to hearing so much traffic. |
Guestbook for Pixley Cottage
As well-seasoned holiday-cottagers, we were the lucky first time holiday makers of Pixley Cottage. Very pleased with comfort and facilities and especially so much space! Sampled food at the Dog, Hare and Hounds, and Queens and Talbot in Belbroughton but for a real treat, try the closest of all Stone Manor Hotel just up the hill. Lovely setting and ambience, fantastic food and good old fashioned service, well worth the slightly higher prices. We'll be back soon we hope.
