Home description

Our new built house with several living units is situated in a beautiful and quiet location within the idyllic town of Balatonbereny near the lake. There is no noise of the train, street or nightclub noise from the beach. The house was created on a 2000 sqm property and has a big and locked car-park (200 sqm) in the front area. Situated behind it you will find a big sunbathing area (700 sqm) and in the part behind there is the swimming pool 5 x 10 m with a big stair and an extra kids pool with 2 x 2 m and with a lovely view at the nearby fields. (Landlord is on the spot). We have 2 more apartment in this house.

Can also be rented complete for 16 – 22 people. In total 3 apartmente with 8 bedrooms, 3 showerrooms, 3 toilets and 2 terraces at 190 sqm living space.

Balatonbereny is an idyllic town along the south bank of Lake Balaton and has 1.200 inhabitants. Balatonbereny can offer something for everyone, the old as well as the young are enthused. Here you will find the perfect holiday, either with family or with friends.

Keszthely / Balatonbereny area

In Balatonbereny you have various possibilities to enjoy your holiday. The town has 2 beach pools, and one of these is especially for nudists, by the way the only one of this kind at Lake Balaton. The nudist beach opens its doors already at the 15th of May. In Balatonbereny the bathing is a joy because the water temperature is in summer constantly at 22 - 28 °C and so the youngest can splash in the water all day long without having to fear a cold. For a family holiday Balatonbereny is ideal because of the flat water. Here, even after a 200 - 300 m off-shore distance, the water is not deeper than 1m.

How to get there

Ryanair flies to FlyBalaton Airport (Sarmellek) three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). The house is about 15 kms from the airport.

If you fly to Budapest (Easyjet, BA, Malev, etc), you can hire a car and drive to Balatonbereny in about 2 hours.

Trains also run regularly from Budapest. Easy and affordable car hire is available at FlyBalaton Airport.

To drive from the UK is possible and can be done in less than 2 days with a stop over in Germany!

The apartment Sellina 65 sqm is completely furnished with 3 bedrooms, shower, extra toilet and big living space with a cosy rattan sofa to extract. The kitchen offers electric cooker and baking oven, fridge with freezer, coffee machine, kettle and a lot more. Especially nice for relaxing is the big terrace with its 30 sqm where you can barbecue or just sit together after you have enjoyed a restorative bathing day. Also the youngest at the children’s pool you can observe perfectly from the terrace. All windows have fly screens and blinds.

Only 15 km away Spa Heviz is one of the most important Spas in Hungary. The lake with a total surface of 4,6 ha is known as a thermal water lake that is unique in the world with its turf ground and is surrounded by a 50 ha big reserve forest. The water temperature is 30 - 35 ° C during the summer, even in the coldest winter does not fall below 25° C. Also the recovery effects of the curing mud, a kind of silicon dioxide that covers the ground of the lake earns Hévíz this famous reputation. The thermal water contains alkali-hydrogen carbonites and is sulphureous. Therefore the thermal water like the curing mud is especially for the treatment of chronic degenerative illnesses of the moving organs, posttraumatic conditions and gout.

Paying extras at place: Local taxi 1.50 € per day/adult and a final cleaning 40 €. Prepayment 35 %, the rest has to be paid during the hand-over of the keys and deposit of 100 €.

If you book from the beginning of the 20th September a heating fee of € 60.- will be charged if needed. . Long-term renters are welcome in autumn and winter. Superb prices!!!!
