The property is centrally heated and has a lounge with an open fire, flatscreen TV, digital video recorder, DVD player and CD player. It leads directly into the dining room which has a large table with 6 chairs. The adjoining kitchen is attractively designed and equipped with all modern conveniences. There is also a separate utility room that includes a washer/drier and ironing facilities.
The master bedroom has a double bed, flat screen TV, and ensuite bathroom, including wc, wash hand basin and electric shower. Patio doors open on to the front garden area. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third has a set of bunk beds, along with a small TV and DVD player. A baby cot and high chair are also available. The main bathroom is provided with a bath, wc and wash hand basin. Patio furniture and BBQ facilities are also available.
A small collection of books, games and DVDs are available for guests' use.

The cottage is set in its own grounds with private parking. The front patio area is south facing, and outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities are provided. The private marina is located in front of the development and includes a slipway. A berth can be made available, subject to size limitations, by prior arrangement. Portinode also has a small, rocky foreshore.
The County Fermanagh region
The Fermanagh Lakelands region not only provides visitors with spectacular scenery, but is also steeped in history and heritage, with ancient monastries, round towers, Plantation castles and National Trust stately properties to visit. It offers an impressive range of outdoor activities, especally water sports such as boating, sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, and is excellent for fishing, cycling and walking. Other activities include pot-holing, climbing, horse-riding, golf and flying.
The ancient County town of Enniskillen, about 20 minutes' drive, has a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs. It also has a cinema, the Ardowan Theatre, a Sports Leisure centre and the Enniskillen Castle Musem. It is a good place to catch a boat trip to one of the nearby islands.
In addition, Portinode is within 25 miniutes' drive of the dramatic coastline of County Donegal, with its unspoilt, sandy beaches and Atlantic rollers, great for surfing enthusiasts. The Water World Centre at Bundoran offers a fun family alternative to the beach.
The village of Kesh, only 10 minutes' drive, has a good range of shops, with a few pubs and restaurants, including 'Take Aways'. Lusty Beg Island is also close by (approximately 3 miles), and has a free ferry to take you across to the bar and restaurant and other facilities on the island. Castle Archdale country park offers horse riding, great walks and a war time museum, while in the nearby town of Irvinestown there is a ten pin bowling alley. Fishing opportunities and boat hire are available from many local establishments.
