The County Kerry region

The Beara Peninsula offers great hill walking for all levels and numerous way marked walking routes criss-cross the area's mountains, bogs and coast line. The Beara Way, one of the best known of Ireland's way marked walking routes, skirts near the house which is at the intersection of two other Kerry walks.

Boasting scenic views of the famous Maccgillycuddy Reeks mountains is this cosy cottage, located on a working farm a mile from Tuosist village and 10 miles from bustling Kenmare. It has been lovingly restored retaining much of its original character from yesteryear.Within easy reach of the Beara Peninsula popular for hill walkers. Tour the Ring of Kerry, join the seal watching Cruises on Kenmare Bay, golf on many of the courses in the region, fish or just relax and enjoy this uncommercial region of Ireland.

~There are electric blankets available on all beds.
