The home has 4 bedrooms (2 Master) and 4 bathrooms. Inside the doors is an elegant foyer with carpeted stairs and a bathroom adjacent to it. Beyond the stairs to the left is the entrance to the ground floor of the house which has an open floor plan. To the left, the living room is furnished in different shades of coffee and cream and splashed with teal accents creating inviting warmth which, along with floor to ceiling drapes, exquisite wall hangings and wide plank oak floors is an ideal place for guests to relax and read a book or plan the next day’s tour. The room is fitted with a plasma television and stereo system. The elegant but cosy room is full with several sofas that all centre on the room’s beautiful fireplace.
The home’s exquisite French painted furnishings, silk curtains and recess lighting throughout reveal the owners talents as an interior designer and proprietor of one of Munster’s leading interiors shops, The White Room. The luxury that she has created will ensure that you and your fellow guests will be able to relax and enjoy all that Kenmare has to offer. The home’s open plan design allows everyone in your group to share in all activities. Cooks can prepare a tasty meal in the home’s fully fitted kitchen complete with granite countertop and stainless steel appliances without missing any conversation. The dining room sits between the sitting room and the kitchen and comfortably seats eight people at its large oak table. Diners will enjoy panoramic views of the home’s garden. Off the kitchen is a spacious washroom that is fitted with a washer and dryer. A small sitting area next to the dining area leads guests through French doors and to the spacious furnished patio that sits outside. The property offers a large secluded back garden with a swing set and a wide selection of children’s toys.
All four bedrooms are located on the first floor which enjoys high ceilings and wall-to-wall plush cream carpet. At the top of the elegant staircase and to your left is the first of the two master bedrooms. It features a 6’x4’ bed with matching bureau and wardrobe. It is decorated with cream, biscuit and grey shades and boasts a cosy fireplace, full length flower drapes and lovely views; this room is a haven of relaxation. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom.
Just across the hall, the second master bedroom is decorated in shades of biscuit and blue and features a wide window with views of the back garden, golf course and mountains. It features a 6’x4’ bed with matching bureau and wardrobe. The adjacent bathroom features a high pressure shower for instant relaxation after a day out on the golf lynx.
Further down the hall, the home's third bedroom has two matching single beds with a Victorian night stand in between them. The delicate linen curtains, bed frame and wardrobe complement each other and are highlighted by lines of pure white. And at the end of the hall, the fourth bedroom also features two single beds and has coordinating curtains, bed frames, and nightstand as well as a wardrobe. Both rooms have views of the home’s garden.
Kenmare is renowned for its stylish shops such as The White Room, Bijou Boutique, Vanilla Grape and Sue D Knits and restaurants including The Purple Heather, Packies, Mulcahys, Salvados amongst others – all just a short stroll away from this Oakwood Manor Home.
Kenmare is also ideally located for touring the world famous Ring of Kerry, the lesser known but equally beautiful Ring of Beara, West Cork, the Killarney National Park and Lakes of Killarney and Dingle and the Slea Head peninsula.

Kerry Airport is just 45 minutes away and has daily flights to &from Dublin and London Stanstead and Luton, there are also regular flights to & from Frankfurt Hahn, Alicante and Faro.
Killarney Train Station is 35 minutes drive and there are a minimum of 4 daily trains to Dublin.
