This refurbished 2-bedroom cottage is set in a large hillside garden overlooking Kenmare Bay.

The property is south facing and enjoys stunning views to the Caha Mountains and Beara Peninsula. Coss Strand, Pat Spillane's Bar, the Ring O'Kerry Golf and Country Club, Templenoe Pier and the forest walks of Dromore Wood are all within 5 minutes' driving distance.

The house is level throughout and is ideal for people of reduced mobility (owner is a wheelchair user). Free WiFi.

Extras: Central Heating Oil and electricity is charged by meter readings agreed with guests on arrival and departure. A security deposit of EUR 100.00 (EUR 150.00 in winter) is payable in cash to our local agent at time of key collection. This will be refunded at time of departure once the Central Heating Oil and Electricity bills have been paid. PLEASE NOTE that this Security Deposit is additional to the Damage Deposit payable to Holiday Lettings at time of reservation.

Assuming no damage, the Damage deposit of €150.00 payable to Holiday Lettings at time of booking is refundable by Holiday Lettings following the guest's departure.

Rental period From 4.00 p.m. onwards on date of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on date of departure (except by prior arrangement). We are glad to be flexible with arrival and departure times, where possible.

The County Kerry region

Templenoe Heights is an excellant base for exploring the Iveragh and Beara Peninsulas.

Take daydrives to visit Killarney National Park, Healy Pass, Conor Pass, Bantry House, Skellig Islands, Sneem, Derrynane etc.

The area is rich in magnificent scenery, spectacular mountain drives and walks, archeological sites, long sandy beaches. There are endless possibilities for outdoor activities - golf, sailing, water sports, horse riding, fishing, hill walking and mountain climbing.

Kenmare

Ring Of Kerry Golf Club, Pat Spillane's Bar, Templenoe Pier and Coss Strand (pebble beach) all within 1.5 k.m.

(1 mile).

Kenmare, the local town, is a hub of activity with its award winning restaurants, cafes, pubs, art galeries, Carnegie Arts Centre, market and many shops. It is approx 7.5 km (4.66 miles) from the house - about 10 minutes' drive.

Star Outdoors sailing school and water activities centre is approx. 11.27 km (7 miles) away.

Other local amenities include forest walks, hill walking, horse riding and pony trekking, trout / salmon and deep sea fishing, sailing and water sports, sailing and activity centre.

"An enjoyable stay at Templenoe Heights"
