For those working in the area, Tata Motors, the successful new owners of Jaguar Landrover is only a fifteen minute journey by car and Warwick University with it's technology park and it's multitude of research facilities is a bike ride, bus trip or even walk away.

"Abbey Cottage" has been modernised and furnished to provide it's guests with all the modern benefits you would hope for. The two ensuite shower rooms are complimented by a ground floor cloakroom and all furnishings are comfortable and stylish. Furnished to a high standard with a modern yet cosy atmosphere, "Abbey Cottage" is well suited to entertaining and family accommodation. The kitchen dining room is particularly spacious with a dining table & six chairs with French doors to the living room. Upstairs the Cottage is carpeted but the ground floor is finished with both slate and laminate wooden flooring. The bedrooms are both double and both have en suite shower rooms with pedestal sinks and wc's. Downstairs a further cloakroom is ideal for visitors and a large storage cupboard houses all those necessary essentials such as an Ironing board, Iron, Clothes Airer and Vacuum Cleaner.

A pebbled patio garden allows peaceful and private sitting space. A Rattan style table and two chairs are all provided. The beautiful Abbey Fields, with it's lake, tennis courts and swimming pool are located at the end of the road! "Perfect for our needs"

Over from the US for a family reunion with my wife, son & girlfriend and second son with twin 41/2 yr old girls. The layout enabled privacy for all members, especially as the lounge had french doors making it a third bedroom for the twins & their dad. Cottage location perfect for short walk to town, park and pubs. Couldn't have been better situated. Quiet street with a fabulous 'Fish n Chip' shop almost next door. Added attraction in the back garden, a trampoline, wonderful for the girls. Highly recommend the cottage

"Attractive, Convenient and Totally Fit For Purpose"

Working at Warwick University for a short while this Cottage was immensely practical for travel,to & from, whilst also benefiting from all of the conveniences you would want. The Wi Fi was very fast and the sleeping and shower rooms very good and comfortable. Although there is parking I walked to the University and even this took only 20 minutes. Pubs, restaurants, shops and parkland on doorstep making the free time I had very pleasant.

I wanted to let you know that the shower has been fixed as has the bedside light.
I agree about the need for another chest of drawers (storage). The furniture in the house has been carefully selected and none of it has come from a "Grandma"! The rug in the living room was from a village in Spain named Mijas and was handmade. There is a double bed width leather sofa bed (£1200) and the other sofa and furniture (side table, nest of table and dining table all matching) were purchased from a leading furniture store. The mattress had actually been turned the wrong way up by the cleaners. It is latex topped and sprung interior. We have had many positive comments before and since.
The shower cubicles are a standard size and no one has mentioned these as an issue so these will not be changed.
Very surprised by the "Chintz" comments. There's nothing like that in there?

"Compact, cosy and clean. Great location!!"

With the available space, its a well laid out cottage, cosy and comfortable, especially the beds...... The internet connection was superb!! Great location with everything you will need - shopping, restaurants, pubs...... within walking distance. The rental experience was with no stress at all and Mark Walmsley was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful.
