There’s 14th century Castle Dairy, Kendal Castle, Castle Howe, Abbot Hall Museum, Kendal Museum and a host of churches, chapels and houses built from the 1600s.
There’s the Brewery Arts Centre - a multi-purpose arts complex presenting a year round programme of theatre, music, films, lectures and exhibitions, The Lakeland Climbing Centre - a world-class indoor climbing centre and Kendal Leisure Centre – one of the most diverse leisure and entertainment complexes in Cumbria. There’s also an abundance of quality Shopping, a diverse choice of Restaurants, quirky Tea Shops (some famous) and a multitude of historic public houses.
