Home description

We are just a short stroll away from Kendal’s speciality shops, cafés and restaurants and a bus stop with routes serving the Lake-District (if you pack your hiking boots the ‘Lakes’ is bursting at the seams with good walks). If not in search of a mountain to climb then there is plenty of ‘wandering’ potential both in and around Kendal.

Combining Victorian architecture with contemporary living, castle view is a first floor duplex apartment that shares the lofty entrance hall with stone and ironwork staircase with the old schoolhouse apartment. The entrance hall is a great space to park buggies/prams.

On ascending the stone staircase you enter the extraordinarily generous open-plan living/dining area with part double height ceilings and large Victorian windows providing masses of natural light that boast views out over Kendal rooftops taking in Kendal Castle and the nearby fells.
