Gas central heating with gas fire in sitting area. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, iPod dock, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Allocated off road parking space for 1 car. Rear decked area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: The cottage is accessed via steps and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to the steep location of the property. Note: There is no vehicular access to the cottage and the allocated parking space is approx. 200 yards away.

Kendal

The town of Kendal is situated on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. The town offers old cobbled lanes, an attractive main street, stone ruins of 12th Century Kendal Castle and The Abbot Hall Art Gallery. Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby, plus the Lake District National Park is within driving distance.
