A perfect location for outdoor pursuits, sightseeing or a totally relaxing place to stay with family or friends. Stichill Mains is a beautiful large converted barn with amazing views, in a quiet village setting, furnished to a high standard. SHORT BREAKS BY REQUEST

The owners live discreetly on site in a separate detached cottage where AN ADDITIONAL 2 GUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED UPON REQUEST IN A LARGE DOUBLE BEDROOM with a kingsize bed and bathroom (WC, bath with overhead shower)

The BARN has a huge kitchen with flagstone flooring, wooden dining table and very comfortable chairs easily accommodates 14 guests.

SPACIOUS BEDROOMS DOWNSTAIRS AND UPSTAIRS quality beds and bedding. Travel cot available on request

Located UPSTAIRS are two large double bedrooms with en-suites, superking size beds and flatscreen TV's. The DOWNSTAIRS hosts one triple bedroom with flatscreen tv , one twin bedroom with en-suite flatscreen tv , family bathroom with walk-in-shower. The living room features a double sofa bed and large flatscreen TV. Additionally, there are 2 z-beds available upon request which can be set up in three of the bedrooms.

The extensive fully equipped kitchen/dinning room has a large flatscreen TV and leads to an outdoor terrace through bi-folding glass doors, these are a great feature as they give the room a real indoor/outdoor feel to wonderful views overlooking the Cheviot Hills and rolling landscapes. The private South facing terrace hosts a large charcoal barbeque and wooden garden table and chairs. ( No smoking inside this property )

Stichill Mains is ideal location for walking, cycling and fishing on the river Tweed & Teviot. Fishing and casting instruction available along with clay pigeon shooting and instruction. close to local amenities shops, restaurants, cobbled streets, There are also several golf courses including the Roxburgh Championship course as well as other sporting centres that feature curling, ice skating and swimming.

There are also many attractions in the Scottish Borders including nearby Floors Castle, Kelso and Jedburgh Abbeys, Roxburghe & Hume Castles and many historical battle sites.

The Border Union Showground Hold many events throughout the year including events for all the family.
