in the village of Scala and very close to the beach or you can use the pool from the hotel across the apartments. Wide verandas give you the advantage of enjoying the sun and the view as much as you wish.

The Ionian Islands region

The Ionian Islands are situated at the west of Greece theY are lush and green compared to the other islands in Greece ,They have wonderful greenery because of the heavy rainfalls that they receive. The numerous beaches with the crystal-clear waters attract many tourists every year.

Visiting the Ionian Islands you will experience the Ionian hospitality travellers can find many Venetian monuments, which will cast a spell on them. The islands were the Homeric realm of Odysseus once your been to the Ionian islands you will always come back.

Kefalonia area

The island was the home of the Homeric hero Odysseus and is the place where the filming of the famous Hollywood production ''Captain Corelli'', took place. You can visit mysterious underground lakes and caves, the vast forests of the national park of Mt. Aenos or the endless selection of beaches... long sandy beaches or private little hidden bays surrounded by evergreen pine trees and the emerald blue of the sea.

The Island offers a great variety of activities and sightseeing... Ancient sites, Medieval castles, traditional villages and elegant coast resorts. Has many excellent tourist resorts the biggest being at Lassi, Skala, Poros and Sami.
Smaller more laid back resorts are at Lourdata, Katelios, Assos, Argostoli, Lixouri and Fiscardo to name a few.

You will find activities like water sports, Spa, wine tasting, Scuba diving, boat hire, horse riding ,mountain biking, sea kayak and trekking, as well as sport facilities. Walking and cycling along the coast is a superb experience.

How to get there

Many charter flights arrive every day at Kefalonia airport, from May to October and from all major airports of the UK and NW Europe countries. There are also daily flights directly from Athens.
All year round there are two airlines serving Kefalonia. Olympic airways (http://www.olympic-airways.gr) and Aegean Airlines (http://www.aegeanair.com). Both offer a web based booking and check in, while the latter offers car hire discounts with Hertz. During the mid and hot seasons May to October the island is also served by the majority charted airliners.

Taxi service exists at the airport it cost about 35 Euros from airport to Skala. we can get a quote from local car hires for you and get you in touch with them as well.

By Bus and Ferry

Athens-Kylini . The distance between Athens and Kylini is 286 km and the trip lasts 4.5 hours.
There is service from Kylini, all year round, to:
Poros - Kefalonia: Distance: 22 n.m. Duration of trip: 1.5 hours.
Athens - Patra ( by bus). Patra - Sami, Kefalonia (by F/B)

There is daily KTEL service (leaving from the station of Suburban buses, 100 Kifissou str., Athens) to Patra. The distance between Athens and Patra is 213 km and the trip lasts less tham 3 hours.
