This pleasantly decorated 2-bedroomed villa is fully furnished and offers all the modern conveniences. There is a fully equipped kitchen area and the lounge offers CD hi-fi and British satellite T.V. The lounge opens onto a large enclosed patio with superb views over the Agia Efimia and surrounding countryside. There is air-conditioning in both bedrooms.
The villa has its own private swimming pool with fully fenced patio. There is a brick-built barbecue for pool-side meals.
Set in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Aghia Efimia valley this new villa is situated about three km. from the world-famous Myrtos Beach.
Loukata is a truly traditional Kefalonian hamlet and Villa Ourania is ideally situated for those who prefer a peaceful ‘get-away-from-it-all’ holiday. This is a wonderful nature-lovers spot surrounded by pine trees. Keep an eye out for the eagles which soar the lofty heights of these mountains !
Only a few minutes drive away is the incredible Myrtos Beach where you can soak up the sun and swim in the turquoise crystal clear waters. Try swimming at sundown at Myrtos and watch the golden sun turn to crimson as it sinks into the horizon of the Ionion Sea. There is a beach bar and refreshments on the beach.

The Ionian Islands region
Kefalonia lies in the sparkling blue Ionian Sea to the West of mainland Greece.
It is the largest of the Ionian islands, yet has managed to avoid the tourist commercialisation of neighbouring Corfu or nearby Zakynthos. The mystical island of Ithica lies off the North-East coast of Kefalonia.
Kefalonia is a mixture of unspoilt beaches. majestic mountains, fertile green valleys, forests and olive groves. Mount Ainos, in the south of the island, is higher than Britain’s Ben Nevis, and affords wonderful views of the island’s many villages and beaches. The whole island abounds in wild flora and fauna—early Spring sees Kefalonia ablaze with the colours of millions of wild flowers.
Kefalonian people are wonderfully sociable and can be extremely generous. They are very family-orientated and love children.
Kefalonia has two main towns:-
Argostoli, the capital, has a full range of shops and services including the island’s main hospital.
Lixouri, on the Paliki Peninsula, has more traditional shopping and all one would expect from a small town.
There is a frequent ferry service (20 minutes crossing) between Argostoli and Lixouri.
Kefalonia / Loukata area
Situated about three km from the world-famous Myrtos Beach, Loukata is a small hamlet set in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Aghia Efimia valley.

For beach lovers Myrtos Beach is simply superb - by day the turquoise crystal clear waters on white sand are stunning. Try swimming at sundown at Myrtos and watch the golden sun turn to crimson as it sinks into the horizon of the Ionion Sea.
Just a few minutes drive away is the cute village of Assos, set on a tiny isthmus overlooked by a Venetian fort. Its sheltered harbour is a picture postcard scene and the village has a distinctly ‘French’ ambience to it.
Drive ten minutes eastwards from Loukata and you reach the beautiful town of Aghia Efimia set in a pretty bay overlooking the magical island of Ithica. Aghia Efimia has its own harbour with a mixture of fishing boats and flotilla yachts. There are several tavernas along the harbour-side where you can enjoy the fabulous views and watch the boats coming and going.
If you are really in need of retail therapy then both Argostoli and Lixouri (the two main towns) are about 40 minutes away.
All in all, Loukata is in a superb location - being really peaceful and yet within easy reach of so many beauty-spots.

Charter Flights (many options) during the season. Scheduled flights out of season. Ferries are available from Patras on the Greek mainland and also direct from Bari, Italy. We can arrange car hire at discounted rates with known and trusted local companies.

Linen and towels are supplied and changed twice-weekly. Pool-towels are also supplied. The villa and pool are cleaned twice-weekly.
A complimentary 'welcome- pack' is provided for your arrival - comprising bacon, eggs, tea, coffee, fresh milk, butter, cereal, jam, sliced loaf, coffee, juice, cola, wine and beer. Basic items i.e. salt, pepper, olive oil, loo paper, etc are supplied and regularly replenished.
Special Occasions:- If you have a birthday, anniversary or any other ‘special day’, whilst holidaying, we can arrange delivery of flowers, cakes and other requirements.
For your peace-of-mind we provide a 24-hour contact number (dual language) for emergency cover and call-out service.
