The villa is a short walk to three delightful tavernas.There are two beaches close by Dafnoudi beach is a short drive followed by a 600metres walk though a beautiful forest where you emerge onto a stunning beach.Embilssi beach is a short drive away.The beautiful town of Fiscardo is a four minute drive away where you will find many shops,a bank and a good choice of restaurants.The house is set on the edge of a forest offering a tranquil setting for a relaxing holiday. The garden is walled so giving privacy and security for children and the pool has Roman steps for safe access. The house has a covered loggia for relaxing or dining and the upstairs balcony has stunning views out to sea.

The Ionian Islands region

Kefalonia lies to the west of mainland Greece and is about a three and half hour journey by plane.It is a very green island,mountainous with spectacular scenery.The summers are long and very hot. The Ionian Islands are a small group of islands just off the western Greek seaboard. For centuries they have maintained their own identity and culture, each is unique, set into captivating landscapes of rugged mountains, green hills and the ever-present turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.

Kefalonia / Fiscardo area

There are many interesting places to visit including the many wineries,monastries and the beautiful Mrytos beach,the Drogarati caves and the mesmerising Lake Melissani.
Hire a boat for the day in Fiscardo and visit the many secluded beaches,or visit the nearby island of Ithaca.

How to get there

Fly direct to kefalonia airport,pick up your hire car and the journey to the house takes approximately 55 minutes,if you do not drive taxis are available at the airport.
