Villa Galini is a luxury villa, offering a high standard of accommodation near the idyllic, rural village of Pessada. The villa is nestled amidst tranquil olive groves, offering spectacular views of the Ionian Sea to the front and Mount Anios to the rear. The villa benefits from a private pool surrounded by a private garden. It has a spacious terrace, and BBQ facilities and dining table with chairs to enable you to dine al fresco and watch the glorious sunsets.

Villa Galini was newly built and completed in March 2008. It has 3 bedrooms, all with luxury en-suite bathroom/shower room, with 2 king size beds and 1 twin bed. The villa accommodate 6 guests comfortably but there are 2 extra folding beds available on request. Each bedroom is tastefully furnished and has fully-fitted wardrobes. The villa has full air-conditioning throughout, a living area with TV, DVD player, dining area, fully-fitted kitchen with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher, a separate utility room equipped with wash basin, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

There is a traditional Greek outdoor BBQ, a private pool with surrounding garden, sun loungers and parasols. Patio doors from living and dining areas lead to an outside terrace furnished with dining table and chairs. From the terrace the villa offers a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea.

A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, milk, bread, wine etc is provided on arrival.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
The villa is cleaned midweek when linens and towels are changed.
Beach towels are not provided.

Conditions

Changeover day is sunday.
Arrival time is after 4.00pm and departure time is 10am.
Any other requests can be discussed at booking.

The Ionian Islands region

Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands but yet has escaped mass tourism, remains largely untouched and retains the traditional way of Greek life. With its beautiful coastlines of long sweeping sandy beaches and crystal clear water, Kefalonia offers an ideal place for a relaxing, get-away-from-it all beach holiday. It is also great for walking or cycling holidays. With its diverse scenery, many historic sites, hidden coves and bustling little tavernas, walkers/cyclists will never be short of places to explore.

The Kefalonia / Pessada area

Pessada, on the south coast of Kefalonia is home to many sea captains. There is a port, 10 minutes walk from the villa, where ferries depart to Zakynthos.

Pessada is an attractive village with an abundance of olive and citrus groves but yet only 20 minutes drive away from Argostoli, the bustling capital of Kefalonia, where plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants can be found.
There are many beautiful beaches nearby. The beaches of Makris Yialos and Platis Yialos (15 minutes drive) in Lassi are among the best beaches in Greece and well worth seeking out.

“Perfect!” It's so good we had to go again ... and again (now booked for our 4th year!) Beautiful, quiet location with stunning views over to Zante. The villa has all home comforts and the owners have thought of everything. It's spotlessly clean and has a superb layout for families with children. The pool is great with lots of outdoor space and there is a beautiful secluded beach close by. All in all, a perfect holiday destination and I am almost reluctant to write this as I want it to be my secret!

We had a fantastic time at the villa in July. The villa was superb - the best we have stayed in. All the facilities were top quality and the views were amazing. The villa was spotless and all equipment / supplies were great. The welcome pack was a nice idea and much appreciated. For anyone wanting a get away from it all holiday I would certainly recommend it.

We all stayed at the villa for two weeks in August. We found the villa very well furnished with lots of lovely little touches. The bedrooms were very well appointed and the balcony on the first floor had stunning views ovelooking the countryside. The villa was spacious. The children loved walking down to the beach cove 10mins walk from the villa and then going for an ice cream at the Taverna near Pessada Port. We had a fantastice time.
