The property has its own swimming pool with fully fenced patio and a brick barbecue is set off to the side.
Enjoy the wonderful long sandy beach at Xi, where there are water-sports, beach bars and a beach restaurant. The surrounding countryside lends itself to pleasant walks and children (of all ages) can play a round of mini-golf at The Jolly Fisherman, just a few minutes walk up from the villa.

The Ionian Islands region
Kefalonia lies in the sparkling blue Ionian Sea to the West of mainland Greece.
It is the largest of the Ionian islands, yet has managed to avoid the tourist commercialisation of neighbouring Corfu or nearby Zakynthos. The mystical island of Ithica lies off the North-East coast of Kefalonia.
Kefalonia is a mixture of unspoilt beaches. majestic mountains, fertile green valleys, forests and olive groves. Mount Ainos, in the south of the island, is higher than Britain’s Ben Nevis, and affords wonderful views of the island’s many villages and beaches. The whole island abounds in wild flora and fauna—early Spring sees Kefalonia ablaze with the colours of millions of wild flowers.
Kefalonian people are wonderfully sociable and can be extremely generous. They are very family-orientated and love children.
Kefalonia has two main towns:-
Argostoli, the capital, has a full range of shops and services including the island’s main hospital.
Lixouri, on the Paliki Peninsula, has more traditional shopping and all one would expect from a small town.
There is a frequent ferry service (20 minutes crossing) between Argostoli and Lixouri.
Kefalonia / Xi area
The renowned beach at Xi offers all you will need in watersports and entertainment, and is especially safe for children or non swimmers. The beautiful red sandy beach extends two kilometres to Mega Lakos beach.
This area has breathtaking views over the sea and fantastic sunsets.
The nearest town is Lixouri (about four km.) where you will find all the facilities of a traditional working town, such as shops, restaurants, banks etc.
Mantzavinata (just up the lane) boasts a traditional olive press and a winery, both of which can be visited by the public.
There are many fabulous beaches within easy reach and an 18-hole mini-golf course within half a kilometre.
There are many tavernas - both in the towns and in the surrounding countryside. Vatsa (2 km) has a wonderful taverna situated right on the beach and is a must for Grecophiles.
How to get there
Charter Flights (many options) during the season. Scheduled flights out of season. Ferries are available from Patras on the Greek mainland and also direct from Bari, Italy.
