Helena is an exclusive secluded 5 bedroomed villa standing in 2 acres of private grounds, nestling amongst olive groves offering a very private location. She has stunning views over the countryside to the Ionian sea with the island of Zakynythos in the distance. She is however within walking distance of the small village of Klismata ,and a 5 minute drive to the blue flag beach of Avithos. She has a small local beach within walking distance for the enthusiasts only! She also benefits from a local taverna 200 metres walk from the villa. Helena is the ideal villa for a family or group of friends as she benefits from a full size tennis court, 80 square metre pool,and bbq area with summer kitchen. All our guests enjoying the beautiful peaceful views while dining alfresco on a warm summers evening with only the sheep bells to disturb them.
Within the villa all bedrooms are en-suite and 3 of the 5 bedrooms have balconies with sea and mountain views. We have one upstairs bedroom without a balcony for the safety of small children.The villa has been designed for a family holiday with children in mind. The villa is not isolated,but in an ideal location to explore this naturally diverse island. The busier tourist resort of Lassi is a 10 minute drive away, the capital of the island a further 5 minutes on from Lassi. The airport is 10-12 minutes from the villa. The nearest mini market is a 3 minute walk along the lane in front of the villa.

The first floor of the villa has 4 bedrooms,all with en-suite bathrooms. 2 double bedded bedrooms and 2 twin bedded bedrooms. One without balcony for the safety of small children. On the ground floor is one twin bedroom with shower, it is en-suite in case there are more elderly members of the family on holiday that do not want to use the stairs. The lounge has comfortable seating for ten adults, and is open plan so the chefs of the party do not feel left out of the group. We have a high chair and cot for the younger guests

The villa is particularly safe for our guests as we have a gated entrance, children can run free with little parental worry. The tennis court is an extra bonus for the more active guests, and countryside walks, not too hilly, for our guests who prefer more activity! We have our own orchard and organic vegetable garden for our guests to enjoy our produce during their stay.
We think car hire is essential if you want to enjoy the surrounding areas
Check in time to the villa is usually around 2pm but luggage can be left at the villa any time after 10am.
Check out time is 10am unless arranged otherwise by us when you book your holiday.
There is a £200 security deposit, to be paid with the final balance. If there is no damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, the deposit will be repaid in full,by bank transfer.
Villa Helena is not available for wedding parties, neither wedding or reception,or for parties larger than those that are booked into the villa.

The island boasts the 3rd largest mountain range in Greece, including the national park of Ainos, and offers refuge to wild ponies,golden eagles, osprey and many other protected species. Marine life in the area is rich as well, offering a protected environment to dolphins, rare monk seals and the loggerhead turtle.There is a wealth of flowers and herbs amid orchards, olive groves and pine trees all within our locality.

Melissani lake, Drogarati cave, the village of Assos and the only village undisturbed after the devastating earthquake of 1953 - Fiscardo. The villages of Kourkoumelata and Metaxata where lord Byron lived for a while. The capital town of Argostoli, a working town but still has the bridge over the Koutavos lagoon built during the English occupation of the island.
