Villa Aura is a two storey detached house. It has 7.4 metre infinity pool with large terrace area. Pergola for shade and bbq area. Fully fitted kitchen open plan living/dining area. Separate ground floor wc. In a village setting, it is tranquil with views of the countryside and Mount Aenos. The village of Spartia is a 15 minute walk, (5 mins by car) with mini market, bar, restaurant, Cava Liakis. Spartia beach is a lovely cove with clear blue shallow water ideal for children.
The south of the island has many beautiful beaches to visit, as does the whole of the island. Car hire is advisable. Argostoli the capital is set on the harbour, with a large central square to eat and drink and watch the world go by. Buy fresh fish from the fishermen as they dock. Beautiful paved waterfront and pedestrian shopping area with many shops, bars and restaurants. Lassi is a large tourist resort with long sandy beach, bars, shops.

Spartia beach is 10 minutes drive, with mini market in the village with bar/coffee shop and restaurant. Lassi is the main tourist resort and the capital Argostoli are both 20 minutes drive and boasts many shops, bars, restaurants. The airport is just 15 minutes drive. Ideal location to access all around the island.

Kefalonia a a beautiful island that boasts many stunning beaches, including the famous Myrtos beach. Argostoli is the capital, well laid out with central square with many bars and tavernas. Beautiful front to the harbour, many shops and everything you woud expect to find in a town. Banks, cash points, post office, tour operators, excursions.
North of the island is Sami close to the Drogarati Cave , a wonderful lake in the Melisani cave. Past the monestary of St Gerassimos, and the relaxing beach at anti samos.
Assos stands on the neck of a small peninsula, being one of the most facinating part of the island. The fort is situation on top of the hill overlooking the stunning bay. Fiscardo is the most Northerly harbour and one of the most attractive.
South where the villa is situated is Lassi, one of the main tourist resorts, with long sandy beaches. Further south you will find Skala Katelious and Poros, each with its own charm.
Mount Aenos dominates the Island and is worth driving up, you may see a glimpse of the wild horses, or come across herds of goats.
THe smaller town of Lixouri is across the bay from Argostoli and can be reached via ferry which run every 30 minutes and takes 20 minutes, or drive around to see the scenery which takes around an hour and half.
WHat ever you do there will be sights to see, things to do, and places to visit.
