The Ionian Islands are idyllic and varied in character. Corfu is covered with wildflowers and cypress groves and is a popular holiday destination. A little less busy, islands such as Kefalonia and Zakynthos are lush and inviting.
Kefalonia area
Villa Marion is surrounded by olive, orange and lemon groves and is ideally situated for walking and enjoying the surrounding countryside. The area has several small traditional tavernas offering a large variety of local cuisine and wine. The blue flag beach of Avithos is a 5 minute drive away and has two excellent taveras as well as a beach snack bar. A further 5 minute drive away are a further two famous beaches, Makris Yialos and Platis Yialos in the town of Lassi, and a further 5 minutes drive brings you to the capital, Argostoli, a vibrant and bustling town with its beautiful harbour, bars, tavernas and shops.

The property is air conditioned and comprises on the ground floor, an open plan fully fitted kitchen, a large living/dining area with French doors leading to the terrace and private pool area. Also on the ground floor there is a large shower room, a utility room including washing machine, iron and ironing board and a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes and French doors to the terrace. Upstairs, there are 2 twin bedrooms, each with fitted wardrobes, and a shower room. Both bedrooms have French windows that open onto an extremely large balcony that offers stunning views of the Ionian sea and the island of Zakynthos.
