About the home

Layout: The front door opens into an open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area on the ground floor. From the living room there are French windows to a shaded balcony terrace, overlooking the private swimming pool and sea views beyond. Leading off from the living room is a double bedroom with an en suite shower room and private balcony. Upstairs is a twin bedroom with en suite and private balcony.

Villa Valio has the most sensational sea views from every part of the villa.

The living room has sofa, armchairs, Satellite TV (with selection of free channels) and DVD, Radio/CD player.

Patio doors lead out onto the shaded veranda, overlooking the pool, with table and chairs. An ideal location for eating while keeping an eye on little ones in the pool.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area.The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge-freezer, full cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, sandwich-maker, kettle and coffee-maker.

There is a master bedroom on the ground floor with double bed with en suite bathroom. The second bedroom is upstairs and has twin beds with en suite. The master bedroom has patio doors to a private terrace overlooking the pool.

(If required, two folding beds, suitable for children, can be provided for the lounge area.)
Each bedroom has its own en suite facilities.

There are extensive terraces surround the swimming pool which has sun loungers and umbrellas.

Kefalonia is located on the West coast of Greece, and has a mild climate along with excellent beaches. The island of Kefalonia has escaped mass tourism and recently was used to film Captain Corelli's Mandolin, set in war-time Kefalonia. The film, with Nikolas Cage, was a huge success and it put Kefalonia firmly on the 'must visit' list of destinations.

The Kefalonia / Fiscardo area

Vassilikades is a small village just outside of Fiscardo. Filled with traditional stone houses and locals going about their daily lives. There are several Tavernas, pizzeria, cafes, supermarket, chemist and local health clinic as well as a petrol station.

Fiscardo, with its waterfront tavernas and bars, is simply a delight. Strict building regulations, to maintain the elegance of the Venetian architecture which lines Fiscardo's horseshoe harbour, have created a magical setting that is one of Kefalonias highlights.
