About the home

Villa Lithia offers flexible accommodation from 2 to 6 people. ideal for the extended family or friends holiday. Within easy walking distance are two tavernas and two minimarkets. The chic harbour of Fiscardo is an 8 minute drive away, offering a cosmopolitan variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Within a 10 minute radius of the villa are a wide selection of beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. Snorkellers' paradise! Fiscardo also offers the opportunity for scuba, boat and yacht hire and various day excursions.

The master bedroom has a private balcony offering unparalleled views to Ithaca,Lefkas and mainland Greece. The open plan living area opens up onto a spacious terrace perfect for al-fresco dining. The guest suite has a modern en-suite, outside sitting area and also commands spectacular views.
The guest suite will only be opened if the booking is for more than 4 people.

The lounge area is furnished with a comfortable suite, flat screen TV, satellite TV and DVD player. There is also a small library of DVDs and an extensive library of books. The kitchen is modern and functional.
Every room opens out onto a terrace with a view of the sea. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

There are two outside dining areas, one with teak furniture, the other with aluminium and glass, both with seating for six and large umbrellas.
Pool terrace with six sun loungers, umbrellas, Adirondack chairs and marble table.

Conditions

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking, with the balance being due 8 weeks prior to departure. If your holiday starts within 8 weeks at time of booking payment in full will be required.
A £300.00 refundable security deposit is required. To be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
House is owned by Annmarie and Bob Avaient who reside in the UK. All transactions are conducted in GBP through Barclays Bank plc UK

The Ionian Islands region

Kefalonia and other Ionian Islands escaped the occupation of the Ottoman Turks, but were ruled by the Venetians until 1797. Anglo-Venetian architecture can be found in many Ionian churches, castles and houses. Beautiful arches, stonework and intricate wrought iron work make up the buildings in and around Fiscardo.

Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands, offering holiday makers many places of interest, beautiful beaches, interesting villages and towns waiting for the explorer. Easy access to neighbouring islands of Ithaca, Lefkas and Zakynthos.

The Kefalonia / Fiscardo area

The Kefalonian landscape is particularly verdant with olive, pine and cypress covering the mountain sides. If you come early in the year you may be lucky enough to view an explosion of wild flowers.

Myrtos Beach with its' turquoise waters is one of the most photographed beaches in the Mediterranean. Visit Assos and walk up to the ancient Venetian Fort then enjoy a delicious lunch on the harbour.

Take in Sami and see Melissani Lake and the Dragati Caves. The beach of AntiSamos offers the more active watersports and a great beach restaurant.

Fly from all major airports direct to Kefalonia. Easy Jet, Thomas Cook, Monarch, Viking, Thomson all offer direct flights. Try Airflights.co.uk or Skyscanner to find best priced flights. Alternatively, fly to Athens and take a domestic flight to Kefalonia. Flights are also available direct from Amsterdam, Vienna and Milan
We recommend you hire a car at the airport upon arrival. The drive to the villa, which is situated in Katsarata, near Fiscardo on the north of the island is the perfect start to the holiday taking in the dramatic scenery and coastline of the island.

“The perfect place to relax and unwind” We have stayed at Villa Lithia on several occasions and each stay was as good if not better than the previous one. We love the peace and quiet and outstanding beauty of the location. The villa itself is most attractive and has all the comforts one needs to make a perfect holiday. There is nothing better, after a swim in the pool, than sitting on the terrace with a gin & tonic looking out at the magnificent view across the sea Ithaka and beyond.

“A real jewel of a place with fabulous views and great facilities” The villa is fantastic, light and modern with breathtaking views. We had a relaxing and memorable holiday and would not hesitate to recommend the villa. The whole experience from booking onwards was easy and it was a pleasure dealing with with the owners. Thank you to them for all the useful information they gave us and we really enjoyed the restaurants and tavernas recommended. The locals were very welcoming and convenient stores nearby.

“A relaxing way to spend your holiday” We have stayed at the Villia Lithia during our European summer holidays for over 7 years. Why do we chose the Villia Lithia each time? Stunning views across the Ionian to the islands of Ithaca & Lefkas not to mention a backdrop of the Greece mainland. One can relax in a comfortable, stress-free setting with all the amenities one would expect at a resort. Private pool, ceiling fans and air-conditioning, full kitchen, large veranda with sun umbrellas, large table and chairs for sunset dining and cocktails. Just a short 15 minute walk to small village with tavernas and grocery stores. 20 minute drive to the beautiful seaside fishing village of Fiscardo with plenty of tavernas, restaurants, bars and shopping. Beaches within a short driving distance from the Villa. Awake to the sound of goat bells - a most relaxing way to spend a holiday. Villa Lithia has it all!

“Beautiful Villa, Heavenly Views” We had an amazing holiday in Villa Lithia, the location is wonderful, the decor was stylish and the sound of the goat bells as they passed by was fantastic. So relaxing, we visited with our 2 children age 12 and 8 plus Nana and Grandad. We used the main house and the additional guest house for the grandparents which worked perfectly. We fell in love with the area and will certainly return. Bob and Annmarie made our trip so easy, perfect communication and attention to detail. The villa was spotless and the cleaner very pleasant .. not intrusive, the Manager who called by to check on the pool etc was also very friendly. Thanks again..also to Jinger x ;)
