Villa Brio Exclusive is a newly built seaside complex of 3 smartly designed detached villas with private pools, located on the coast from Skala to Poros, Kefalonia.
The villas opened in June 2010.
The 2-floor Villa A & Villa B accommodate 6 and 8 guests in 3 and 4 bedrooms respectively, with one full bathroom per floor.
As per the biggest 3-floor Villa C, it offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, addressed to larger parties.
Each villa boasts a spacious private landscaped garden and a large design pool (42 sqm) with superb views over the blue horizon of the Ionian Sea & the smooth coastline to Skala village. Also, in a few steps from the villas, the guests can enjoy diving into turquoise waters...
The location offers the unique feeling of being 'away from it all' yet close enough to amenities: 150m to a 5* resort spa, less than 200m to a wonderful secluded small beach, about 1km to the nearest restaurant, bar, super market and about 2km to the famous long sandy beach of Skala & village.
Car is needed only to explore the rest of the island...

At ground floor, further to a bright living & dining area leading to garden & pool, you find a fully equipped built-in kitchen.
Also, a full bathroom, which serves two bedrooms.
One with queen double bed & the other with a comfortable bunk bed for two adults.
On top, in the spacious living area there is a double sofa bed available to accommodate up to 2 extra guests.
Upstairs, you find a double bedroom & a full bathroom.
The spacious veranda with a wooden pergola outside the room offers breathtaking sea views!

The villa enjoys stunning sea views from all levels.
It boasts a spacious private landscaped garden, which develops all around the villa & offers a 'natural playground' for the kids.
Stepping out of the living area to the garden, the guests enjoy a shaded pergola with comfy dining furniture either for 'al fresco' meals or chill-out gatherings!
Just a few meters away, the large curved private pool (42 sqm), surrounded by sun beds & umbrella, invites you to numerous refreshing dives, followed by lazy sunbathing with undisturbed views of the blue horizon!
Also, in a few steps from your villa, you can enjoy diving into turquoise waters...

The Ionian Islands region
Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea and one of the world's most stunning holiday destinations, with charming beaches and high quality resorts.
Highlights not to miss while at the island: the famous beach of Myrtos (amongst top ten in the world!), the natural beauties of Mellisani lake, the deep-green mountain of Ainos where the unique species of wild small horses can be met (if lucky!), the local "robola" wineries and last - but not least - the traditional meat pie!
The Kefalonia / Skala area
Villa Brio Exclusive is located at a focal point on the coast from Skala to Poros.
In a few steps from the villas, the guests can enjoy diving into turquoise waters!
Just 150m away there is a 5* resort, which offers amongst other high quality spa treatments & diving courses.
Also, in 200m the guests can step down to a wonderful secluded small beach to enjoy crystal clear sea quite in private!
In about 1km from the villas, on the coast to Skala, you find restaurants with great sea views while in 200m further a music bar, a pastry shop & a super market.
From that point to the centre of Skala village, the coast develops busier providing a great variety of restaurants, bars, food shops, car/bike rentals, pharmacy, medical centre, ATM etc.
At that point also, the impeccable beauty of the famous long sandy beach of Skala begins & keeps for the next 5km, offering unlimited options from water sports, scuba diving & boat hire to lazy sunbathing & naturist bay... Walking and cycling along the coast is also a superb experience.
Tennis is available in nearby hotels, while mountain biking, horse riding, sea kayak and trekking within 30 minutes drive.
Finally, not to forget that in Poros, 9km from the complex in the opposite direction, there is a port from where you can sail around the island!

You can track alternative direct flights from major EU cities to Kefalonia through various operators.
Of course there is always the option to fly to Athens and then get a flight Athens - Kefalonia (and vice versa).
From Kefalonia Airport to Skala village (28 kms), follow the signs to villages: Svoronata- Metaxata - Peratata -
Vlachata - Chionata - Ratzakli -Skala. Once you have entered Skala village, you follow the signs to the beach
of Skala. Then, you take the coastal road from Skala to Poros village. Villa Brio Exclusive is on the right hand
side (seaside) 2.5 kms from the beach of Skala. So, just after you have passed San Giorgio Hotel (hillside),
please pay attention to the seaside so as to check the first small road on the right; you follow it and in just
30 meters you find the complex entrance and parking area.
An alternative transportation option would be to fly to Athens and then hire a car to get to the island using the Patra - Sami or Killini - Poros ferry lines.
So, in case you fly to Athens and then drive to Kefalonia:
(a) You drive to port of Patra (mainland Greece - 2 hrs - national road).
Then you take the ferry to Sami (island's main port), about 3 hours trip.
Villa Brio Exclusive is 35 min drive from Sami port.
For on-line booking, you can use www.openseas.gr (Patra - Sami).
(b) Another option is to drive further for one hour from Patra to Killini port and take the ferry to Poros port. After a 75 min ferry trip, it takes just 10 min drive to Villa Brio Exclusive.

About car hire:
As for Athens, you could hire on the spot at the airport, although we would suggest that you contact Hertz or Avis via internet in advance.
In case you need just a local car hire upon landing in Kefalonia (about 35 min drive from the island international airport to Villa Brio Exclusive), we would recommend CBR agency (they also have a branch at Skala village), tel 0030-26710-22770.
Taxi pick up from the airport to the villa (and vice versa) can also be arranged on your behalf (50 Euros).
As for visiting nearby islands, there is a frequent ferry connection to Lefkas from Fiskardo/Kefalonia and to Ithaka from Sami/Kefalonia.
Ferry from Pessada/Kefalonia to Zakynthos has to be confirmed on the spot.
Exact itineraries and ticket booking are available at local travel agencies in Skala village.

Fantastic villa in a quiet location - it provided a luxury base for our holiday. The owners live in one of the 3 villas onsite and were very welcoming - they also provided us with useful recommendations prior to our stay and helped to sort out our taxi transfers etc |
