About the home

Limnaria Villa was built in 2003/2004 with a large garden and pool facilities for the whole family. It is located in the historic town of Paphos only 5 minutes walk from all the facilities you need during your vacation. Although very centrally located, the area is quiet and peaceful and allows you to enjoy beach life, visit historic sites and have romantic dinners in excellent harbour restaurants. Local markets offering Cyprus specialities are close by.

Villa benefits from a large swimming pool, located in a beautiful garden that can be overlooked from a spacious patio in the late afternoon sun. It is fully equipped for 7 adults with 4 bedrooms with en-suits to master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen. The patio is spacious enough for 8 people to dine out.

A welcome pack is with our compliments having milk, tea, sugar, water, bread, butter, marmalade, orange juice, eggs & bacon or Pizza, sunflower oil, Toilet rolls. Please let me know if there are any dietary specifications to be aware of. Specific grocery packs and special requests can also be arranged.

The Paphos region

Paphos is the oldest town in Cyprus and often referred to as "Cyprus forgotten pearl". It offers a unique small town atmosphere, a good climate in combination with great archaeological buildings and sites. The picturesque town is surrounded by luxuriant vegetation and odorous citrus trees.

The Paphos area is included on UNESCO list of protected cultural and nature heritage. It is also known as the birthplace of Aphrodite as this is where she rose from the ocean. The town consists of two parts; the upper part Pano Pathos with its historical buildings and the lower part Kato Paphos with its picturesque fishing harbour, beach promenade and small shops.

The climate in the area is maybe the best in the Mediterranean. Bananas are grown in the Paphos area as the only place in Europe. The average temperature is high as 17 degree C in January and February
