Greetings holiday seekers!
We have a gorgeous very high spec large one bedroom apartment for rent. Ok. We'll be blunt now. It rocks! The flat is situated on a quiet residential street in a swanky block of 12 stunning apartments.
The extra bonuses are the huge roof terrace which is the same size as the apartment and the private pool is a huge 40 FT!! Its only shared with the 12 other apartments in the block - (most of which will often be empty)
The Oakdale apartments are slightly inland, right on higher ground in pretty "Old Paphos" - THREE minutes walk from the museums, Town Hall and famous Markets. But don't worry - at 1km inland as you will find out - the views are incredible, restaurant prices cheaper and it's CLOSER to bar street, the harbour and everything than most of the main tourist hotels!!
Oh yes - and there's even a UK "Marks and Spencers" food hall down the road just a few minutes walk away!! Getting excited now? Fabulous hey! Percy pigs in Paphos!
There is everything you need or want here in Cyprus. Greek mythology, historical temples, skiing in the winter, amazing weather, beaches, bars and clubs galore, spas, diving, hiking, old villages, ancient ruins, day trips to Egypt, Syria and Israel, They even have UK plug sockets and drive on the same side of the road!! GREAT.

Five star swanky pad here people! Oakdale has state of the art apliances, high-spec furnishings and high tech air-conditioning designed to make you feel like you ahve booked a five star suite. :)
Without strong and sophisticated air-con too, a stay in Cyprus can be sticky, sweaty, smelly and simply orrid. Please note you must close doors when air-con is on and also switch onto "sleep mode" at night.
There is a fully fitted modern looking trendy kitchen with silver appliances. There is everything one would need on vacation AND MORE! Posh!
Washing machine, pots, pans, cutlery, every kind of drinking glass, plates, kitchen utensils, modern electric hob/oven, large fridge, freezer, ice maker and state of the range hifi music system.
In the interior designed lounge (apart from the funky looking furniture, chic contemporary art, lights and candles) there are a range of maps, leaflets and info on Paphos to hep you enjoy your stay. Plus our A to Z guide we created.
ASWELL as the main bedroom with large double bed, the main sofa in lounge is also a couch bed. The extra bedding and pillows provided. And yes we have a funky bathroom & towels for you too.
We have also recently fitted a large flat screen TV with HUNDREDS of channels, dozens of them English and some languages we haven't even heard of! We have also left a very large collection of DVDs, books, for your use too. (how nice we are!)
There are books, magazines, CDs everything you could need. On the large outside terrace we have spent a fortune on exotic plants, hooked up a range of pretty outdoor lights, effects, twinkling lights in one of the palms - all designed to make you relax, and enjoy your stay more within beautiful, modern surroundings.
THIS IS A HOLIDAY HOME WITH A DIFFERENCE! IT'S FABULOUS!

The main outdoor terrace as part of the apartment is one of the major attributes of the Oakdale apartment. It boasts the same size as the actual apartment! THIS is what makes this place special!!! GOk you're ready to book your flights now aren't you?!
In fact people - it's fortunately the largest terrace out of the entire block!! CHA CHA CHA!
The terrace is furnished with a SIX seater dining table, sun loungers and a range of beautiful plants such as palm and Bird of Paradise. There is an igrigation system designed to water the plants every day so you don't need to worry.
Aswell as a range of outdoor candles ready for your use, there is outdoor lighting and pretty twinkling lights on one of the palms. A local beer or glass of Cypriot VINO, the orange and pink sunset sky...
AHHHHHHHHH.... Who could ask for anything more!!!?
There are also the most AMAZING Greek Tavernas three minutes up the road "EXO VRISI". The owners are really sweety, they serve great great food and are much cheaper than the touristy places!!

The private pool as part of the Oakdale apartments is a huge 40 FT!!
It is only shared with the 12 other apartments in the block - most of which will be empty. Some pools this size have over 200 apartments sharing it with 32 screaming snotty nosed kids. WE DON'T! Relaaaaaaxation!
Starting at 3ft and gently dipping down to 5ft our pool is a perfect way to cool off in the strong Cyprus sun. It's practically a bath in the summer it's so warm and relaxing. Stavros the pool man even comes and tops the water up with fresh cool water every few weeks. What fun!
Most people who have visited Oakdale so far have had the pool 24/7 to themselves. Chairs and sunlounges are provided of course.
The mystical looking tree looking proudly over the pool gives SOME shade during the day.
PLEASE NOTE.. Due to the location of Oakdale (on purpose of course) The pool and terrace has sun ALL DAY from dawn till dusk. Although this is great and gives amazing sunsets.. (SUNCREAM PLEASE!)
Please note there is no baywatch life guard on duty and no diving allowed

The Paphos region
CYPRUS is the third largest Mediterranean island and one of the most popular tourist destinations, attracting over 3 milion tourists per year.
As it's lower than Spain and Portugal (just above Egypt) the weather is hot and warm ALL year round. Temperatures range from 16 to a scorching 40 degrees or more!!
Of course they have a colder climate in the winter (when Cyprus has impressive ski slopes in the Troodos Mountains) - but when it's minus 4 at home, Paphos is a UK spring like 16 degrees and sunny. Put it this
way - it rained three days last year people!! Where else can you ski in the Morning and sunbathe in the afternoon?
The Kato Paphos area
PAPHOS is known as the "Playground of Aphrodite" and the "Aphrodite's Rock", birthplace of the goddess - some 16 miles east of the town. Legend says that if one swims around the rock three times, at
midnight, with a fool moon, you will be young and eternally beautiful!
There is everything to do in Paphos - a waterpark, all watersports, diving, hiking in Troodos Mountains, Bar Street (a collection of streets featuring dozens of lovely bars and restaurants), karting, tours to
other cities, boat trips. crazy water sports, quad biking, day trips to Cairo and the Pyramids and other countries too.
From mythological Greek culture to screaming Karaoke in a tacky bar - you name it, Paphos has it! (it's also quite cilvised don't you know!)
THERE IS EVERYTHING YOU'D WANT HERE!!!

Book ahead IN ADVANCE and Easyjet from the UK is only 80 POUNDS RETURN!!!
Taxis are plentifull outside the Airport and cost from 25 euro to Paphos Old town. it should take around 20 mins from the Airport.

There are many other sites to check for flights and carhire and rates do vary. Please check around before making a booking. You can also fly into Larnaca airport; using the fast Motorway route to Paphos, this takes approx 1 hour 30min.
You can collect and book hire cars on arrival at the airport. Driving in Cyprus is easy as they drive on the same side of the road as the UK. I find that hire cars are usually cheaper if you book them before you travel!

The location was great, although it does take a while to navigate around, but the buses are so easy and you have local amenities so close, nothings really an issue… It was the terrace that sold it to me – we weren’t expecting that much space and I couldn’t believe we really did have the pool to ourselves for the whole week – we didn’t see another soul!! First of all there are around 100 similar apartments in paphos on this website - however many of them have old fashion 1984 looking wooden nasty cheap interior in them - our apartment doesn't! It's home from home, looks like a FIVE star hotel, is in beautiful cypriot quiet location and has a HUGE terrace and POOL!
The price of the apartment depends on season, length of stay - Prices range from only 210 - 325 UK pounds PER WEEK. For the whole apartment - NOT per person!
This means for example, say a couple want to go in April for a week, At 210 pounds for seven days, it will cost ONLY 105 pounds each!! MUCH MUCH lower than any other price you will get!! Bargain!
Imagine what savings a party of four for two weeks can get!! ALL bills are included in price - we do recommend travel insurance. Payments also negotiable - half, half, deposit, one off, direct debit etc...
With the Troodos Mountains, Coral Bay, Paphos Bird Park and Zoo, the waterpark, Harbour and Bar Street - ALL of these are too far to walk from 70% of the hotels in PAPHOS. HIRE A CAR AND SEE
THE LOVELY ISLAND IT IS!!!
SAT to SAT STAY preferred. But ten day trips and other dates acceptable. Check out time is early evening so don't worry about that either. Stay the full LAST DAY! Keys and maps posted.
