Paphos has an all year round Mediterranean climate and is an established favourite holiday destination of visitors from across Europe.
Paphos is most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, historical sites, a beautiful old harbour, its modern hotels and restaurants, situated along the harbour front promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paulas Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty).
The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas.
Paphos offers shopping in the tourist beach promenade and the old town area of Kato Paphos has a wonderful old covered market area to browse around.
In addition to the wonderful choice of beaches and all year sunshine Paphos offers families a fantastic choice of modern or traditional restaurants, and many things to do and see, from water parks, to go carting, Golf to Luxury spas there is something for all ages to enjoy.
The Kato Paphos area
Close to shopping centres, restaurants, banks and the picturesque harbour of Paphos, Roman Park is right in the heart of Kato Paphos and at the top of the Tombs of the Kings road.
As well as being well located, Roman Park has attractive communal areas and well planned gardens offering plenty of scope for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The excellent location of this project means there is easy access to Paphos town, with its traditional market, picturesque harbour and colourful shops. Just a little way inland are some of the most popular golf courses in the area. Roman Park is right on the beach offering you the best of life in this exciting resort.
Kato Paphos is the more resort-based part of the area, with Paphos town itself being the more traditional sector.

"We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday in the quiet private surroundings, great view of the Roman archaeological area. The apartment is well situated for the blue flag beach 5mins, Tomb of the Kings Road restaurants 2mins, supermarket 5mins, the Harbour area 10/15 mins walk by main road or 30/40mins by coastal path.
