The Paphos District
Paphos is one of six districts in Cyprus and is situated on the western coast. It has two distinct areas, Kato Paphos (lower, tourist area) and Ktima (upper, traditional area).
Paphos is the perfect all round destination, with approximately 340 days of sunshine per year, 300hrs sunshine per month (May to October), average temperatures 16ºC to 30ºC from winter to summer, with July and August being the hottest months.
There are many things to do in and around Paphos: golf, tennis, swimming, yachting, cruises, sailing, karting, paint ball, bowling, crazy golf, horse trekking, walking, hiking, Jeep safari, photography, painting, bird watching, nature trails, Akamas nature reserve (turtles), cycling, mountain biking in Troodos Mountains, diving, snorkelling, swimming, water sports, fishing, deep sea fishing, Aphrodite water park, Bird Park, sightseeing (e.g. Tomb of the Kings, House of Dionysus, Aphrodite's Bath, monasteries), Shopping (including local markets, local shops, Debenhams, Next, Marks & Spencer).
There is skiing and snowboarding from December to March in Troodos Mountains (1½ hr to Mount Olympus).
Kato Paphos / Queens Gardens area
Kato Paphos is a great location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Paphos but close enough to experience everything it has to offer.
There are lots of good restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs, clubs, all within walking distance of the apartment.
It is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and 1 minute to the nearest shop, cafe, bakery, bar, bank, hairdressers / salon, car hire, restaurant and private medical centre.
It is a 5 minute walk to Paphos Municipal beach and it is a 15 minute drive to Coral Bay (there is a frequent bus service just outside the apartment complex).
It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the harbour area, the medieval fort and mosaics, Pafos old town (Ktima) and Bar Street (known for its variety of clubs,bars and pubs).
There are also several golf courses within 20 minutes drive of Queens Gardens: *Minthis Hills Golf Club 15km Par 72 (6060m) *The Secret Valley Golf Club 18km Par 72 (6120m) *Aphrodite Hills Golf Club 20km Par 71/72 (6299m)

50% non-refundable deposit required to secure booking (reservation confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds). Balance payable in full 8 weeks before departure along with £100 refundable breakages / key deposit (this will be refunded 14 days after holiday subject to satisfactory property inspection).
