The apartment benefits from full air conditioning, a large balcony, 1bedroom with a double bed, there is also a quality sofa and chaise lounge in the lounge area. The Paphos District
Cyprus and Paphos has much to offer everyone. From those wishing to find some of the most ancient history and archeology to nature lovers exploring the mountain pine forests and snow covered peaks with excellent hiking & trails. In the hills above Paphos ancient wine producing villages offer you the chance to sample their produce. To the east of Paphos you can find the Akamas nature reserve, where Turtles nest on the secluded beaches.
There is a Water Park open in the summer and some of the best Scuba diving wrecks in the Med with expert tuition. For the Brave go-karts offer an adrenaline packed afternoon along with mountain biking, sky diving, mountain boarding in fact any activity you could imagine is available.
Kato Paphos area
The development is set in a quiet location in central Kato Paphos though just 20 minutes walk to all the activities you could wish for in this great holiday location. The world renowned Paphos harbour, the mosaic museum, Bar Street, restaurants offering all types of cuisine, water sports and the beach can all be walked to within 25-30 minutes from Alina 8.
Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.
In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.
If you decide to hire a car, you are only ten minutes drive from Coral Bay resort with all its cafes, bars, restaurants and other entertainment as well as one of the best beaches in Cyprus. You are also only 20 minutes from Paphos airport.
Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula (12km) there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.
Heading North, you can find the route to Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with many other small but charming villages along the way.
An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.
There are 3 beautiful golf courses in the area, all with an individual style. All are within a 15 minute drive. Due to 340 sunshine days per year, Cyprus does offer many other activities but they are of course, too numerous to mention here.

Many scheduled and charter airlines fly from most Airports across UK and Ireland, including www.Easyjet.com, www.Jet2.com, Monarch, BA and Cyprus airways and many others. Book here at www.skyscanner.net.
There are also direct flights from most major European airports including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Vienna, Prague, Milan, Rome, Paris and Madrid.
Paphos International airport is a 15 minute drive and Larnaca international airport is a 75 minute drive to the apartment which is located in the heart of Paphos Tourist Area.
The best way to get to the apartment from the airport would be to either hire a car, with descriptive directions or if it's more convenient Rachael can organise a taxi to pick you up and take you to the apartment and see you in and to answer any questions you may have.
