Home description

Brand new two bedroom second floor apartment in a fabulous location in Kato Paphos with balconies and sea views. This apartment is suitable for families, couples or seniors as it is served by a lift as well as stairs. There is also the opportunity to take both apartments on this private floor and share your holiday with familiy and friends. You can have both apartment doors open when you are in and treat it like one large area. We have tried it with our grandchildren and it works!

The apartment is finished to a very high standard, we would be happy to use it ourselves and is suitable for extended term rental, e.g. over the winter months. The accommodation comprises a pleasant living area with a two seater settee and a three seater bed settee and also a dining table with seating for six. We have installed a flat screen TV with DVD player and satellite connection, CD, tape player and radio as well as an ipod dock and WiFi facility. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher.

There are double and twin bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes and a bathroom with shower and tub. The apartment is fully air conditioned for summer and heated for winter. The balcony overlooking the sea is particularly nice as the sun sets in this direction and from here you can see the lighthouse and the amphitheatre.

The Paphos District

Paphos is wonderful mix of historical interest, it used to be the capital of Cyprus, we are bounded by 2 World Heritage sites and adjacent to a vibrant tourist district. You can choose how quiet or lively your particular holiday will be and this area really is ideal for all tastes. The apartment is on a bus route and many things are within easy walkijng distance. The harbour is 15 minutes away and a very pleasant stroll. The market in the old town is also within walking distance. Across the road there is a bank with ATM. On the corner is a 24 hour kiosk and there is even a choice of mini markets within 100 metres. There are car hire facilities, a dive shop, and pubs all within the same 100 metres! The range of tavernas is huge and you can eat in a different one every night and never get bored.


Kato Paphos area

There is plenty to interest everyone whether you have a car or not. If you do hire a car then in addition to the above you could visit the Akamas peninsula, Aphrodite's birthplace, Troodos Mountains and many more places of interest.

Attractions in the region include Aphrodite Water Park (free bus service), The Tombs of the Kings, the Paphos Aquarium, Coral Bay, Adonis Waterfalls, Paphos Bird and Animal Park - the list is extensive. For the sporting person there is diving, sailing, snorkelling, waterskiing, para gliding, fishing, windsurfing, cycling, motorcycling, go karting, golf...

Flights direct to Paphos airport, 20 minutes drive from apartment or to Larnaca airport, 90 minutes drive. Airlines flying to Cyprus from UK include, Cyprus airways, British Airways, Monarch, Thomson Fly, Easy Jet etc. and fly from many regional airports. Ferries run from Greece to Limassol and Larnaca.

Taxis are always available at the airport or we can arrange a pick-up service for you on request. There are a large variety of car hire firms in Paphos and at the airport but we advise that you use www.holidayautos.com or one of the majors and book from home.

Covered private parking is provided immediately adjacent to the entrance doors to the block. The pools in the Roman Hotel are available for your use at a nominal cost. They are situated only 50 metres from the apartment complex entrance and offer full hotel facilities, drinks, snacks, meals etc. The beach is a leisurely 7 minute stroll and there are toilets and bar/snack facilities.


Further details

There is an English couple who look after the property for us who actually live on site! They can assist with any query including pick-up from/delivery to the airport, welcome pack on arrival if required and where the best tavernas are.


Conditions

Strictly no smoking.
There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.
25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required with final balance, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Final Balance due 2 weeks before booked date.
