Home description

Serina Olympia is set in a quiet peaceful location yet close to the supermarkets, and 15 mins walk to the local restaurants and bars. The apartment has been furnished by the owners to a high standard with a double bedroom with air conditioning and en suite shower room, separate bathroom, twin bedded room with air conditioning, open plan lounge/dining room with ceiling fans, and fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, built in oven and hob, washing machine and miocrowave. There are two settees in the lounge one of which converts to a double bed. Bed Linen and towels provided.

The apartment benefits from a shared private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning pool views, furnished with a table and chairsand umbrella to enable you to dine al fresco, and private sun beds. The apartment is ideal for families and couples, and not male/female parties,with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Paphos District

Capital of the West and positively teaming with history is Paphos, site of the island's second international airport. The resort town has as its focal point a charming fishing harbour by Paphos fort, lined with open-air cafes and tavernas that serve a tempting menu of the day's catch.
It was on Paphos shoreline that the mythical Goddess Aphrodite was born a legend that spawned a massive wave of cult worship from neighbouring countries that lasted several centuries.

Paphos is steeped in history, so much so that UNESCO simply added the whole town to its World Cultural Heritage list. There are the musterios vaults and caves, The Tombs of the Kings, the pillar to which Saint Paul was allegedly tied and whipped and the ancient Odeon Theatre and other places of interest including the Byzantine Museum. Cyprus has a year round climate making it an ideal location for an excellent climate.


Kato Paphos area

There are numerous excursions such as Aphrodites Baths, and a trip to the Troodos mountains. There are also numerous boat trips both day and evening from the local harbour, and for the more energetic there are several high speed wave jumping and 360 degree speedboat excursions.

There is also an excellent dive centre Cydive where you can experience the majestic underworl experience of diving. There is also a local waterpark in Kato Paphos.

Discount air fares are now available with Easyjet, but there are other airlines such as Thomson who provide cheap air flights.

Serina Olympia is in Paphos which is only a 15 minute drive from Paphos Airport, a very easy drive on the new motorway link.

Arrangements can be made to provide a taxi or reasonable car hire.

The apartment is in a detached building with only one apartment above and has its own grounds, providing a very individual setting.

Whilst being on the ground floor which makes for easy access to the building and pool, there is a raised terrace, which provides for an elevated position.

There is private parking very close to the apartment which is extremely convenient.

To the rear of the apartment is a conservation area, therefore one has the sensation of not being in the centre of a built up area, whilst still being close to all required amentities.

The hire of cots and high chairs can be arranged at an additional cost which can be confirmed at the time of booking. A deposit of £100 to be paid at the time of booking, with total rental cost being paid not less than six weeks prior to departure. The breakages deposit is also paid six weeks prior to departure and is refunded following inspection within two weeks of departure.
