The luxury apartment is on a small complex of only 17 apartments, built by a local builder to a high specification in an quiet location with communal swimming pool, sunbeds, gated access and parking. Situated on the ground floor, full air conditioning, and with luxury fitments in all the rooms. The windows are double glazed, tinted and have fitted fly screens. The lounge area opens onto the tiled patio which faces south and has sea views, it has a gated access to the pool area, which is directly in front of the apartment making it secure for young children.
An ideal location for every age group as it offers all the amenities within walking distance, but is in a quiet position just round the corner from the busy Tomb of the Kings Road, where the main bus routes run to all parts of the island. Our family also own the 2 bedroomed apartment next door, so if you would like information for larger parties, please contact us - ideal for family weddings.

Consists of an open plan lounge with two, three seater burgandy leather sofas one of which is a sofa bed, a sideboard, bookcase with books to read, flat-screen LCD TV, a DVD player which also plays CDs and a nest of oak tables and shelving.
The dining area has an oak table and six chairs and the kitchen has black granite worktops with base and wall units finished in white, microwave, full cooker and two bar stools, we have also included children's'
We have Fly-screens to all windows including the patio door, which is a big advantage in the hot summer months, meaning windows may be left open when you are in bed. Top quality vertical blinds are fitted to the patio and dining room windows and roller blinds to the bedroom windows.
Air-conditioning in all the main rooms, along with ceiling fans to circulate the cool air.
Both bathrooms are tiled, the en-suite has a shower and the main bathroom has a shower and shower screen fitted over the bath. Although it is difficult to see from the photos, both rooms are quite big.
The bedrooms both have white fitted wardrobes with a vanity unit, mirror & stool and each room has a radio alarm clock with ipod dock, bedside cabinets with lamps, a hairdryer is provided in each bedroom. In the main bedroom there is a king size bed, and a fitted safe for your peace of mind.
Towels and beach towels are provided. A weekly linen change is available for each full week booked.

The terrace can be accessed from the lounge via the patio doors and is set on two levels, it has a table and four chairs directly outside the patio windows, a two seater settee to match the chairs and two children's' chairs on the lower level, it faces south and has sea views.
This area is walled with a gate,making it safe for children to play, and leads to the communal swimming pool, which has a shower & sunbathing area where sunbeds are provided. We have also included two of our own sunbeds for your use in and around the pool. The pool is directly in front of the apartment, so you can keep an eye on children all the time.
There is a small walled and gated area at the rear of the apartment which is mainly in the shade and can be used when it is very hot.
There is secure parking for the apartment, with remote access via a barrier if you hire a car.
A Keypad is fitted to the outside of the door, so the key is always waiting for you on your arrival and is a safe way to leave your key when you are out - especially if your group splits up during the day. Wifi is available from the apartment - details will be given on request.

Non smoking apartment
Our family own the apartment next door, which also sleeps 6 people, making it ideal for friends and families, especially weddings.
A non-returnable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking - however we are happy to provisionally hold the dates for up to three days with no obligation, to enable you to find and book flights.
The balance of your payment is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday.
A Security Bond of £150.00 is required as security against breakages, etc and will be returned upon confirmation that everything is in order , and no additional charges have been incurred.

The Paphos region
Paphos is a year round holiday resort, and an ideal base for visiting all parts of the island.The winter months are just as popular as the summer because of the mild climate.
Many people return each year due to the friendliness of the local people, most of whom are English speaking, and the abundance and variety of local cuisine and wines.
Paphos was orignally the capital of Cyprus for 600 years in ancient times, and today it is recognised by UNESCO and is listed on the World Cultural Heritage List.
It boasts a pleasant harbour and medieval fort, seduces its visitors with its majestic landscape, and lovely coastline, its historical treasurers and mountains.
Driving in Cyprus is on the left - so for UK residents no problem for hiring a car.
Plugs are three pin the same as the UK.
The currency from 1st January, 2008 is the Euro
The Kato Paphos area
The road running through Kato Paphos is the Tomb of the Kings Road; the apartment is just round the corner from this road and only 2 minutes from here is Faros (Lighthouse) Beach, which you can see directly from the patio of the apartment.
The lighthouse itself is directly across from the apartment. The beach has been awarded a Blue Flag, has a new beach bar, toilets, showers and changing cubicles - sunbeds and umbrellas are available to hire. There is a pleasant paved coastal walk to the harbour directly behind the beach; from here the sunsets are magnificent.
The harbour itself is lined with restaurants and bars where you will want to linger for a drink, and take in the site of the ancient Fort at the seaward edge. You may be lucky enough to see the famous pink pelicans. Take a boat trip around the coast, or explore in the glass bottom boat.
Kato Paphos harbour and seafront is best for shopping local handicrafts. The coastal path continues east at the far end of the seafront.
The paved coastal walk also runs in the opposite direction from Faros Beach and as you walk you will find a play area for children. It continues on past the Tomb of the Kings Archaeological Site.
The main Tomb of the Kings Road from the apartment to the west leads to the golden beaches at Coral Bay and Corallia Beach and the buses run frequently from the main road. Further places to visit in the same direction are Sea Caves with magnificent rock formations and St Georgios; these are at the start of the Akamas Peninsular.
The towns of Limasol and Larnaca lie to the east and can be reached by the Motorway or coastal road, as can the famous Troodos Mountains that have many lovely villages to explore. The capital Nicosia is about an hour and a half away by driving on the Motorway.

Paphos Old Town is a short bus ride away or about 25 minutes walk. There is a bustling indoor and outdoor market in the town, along with high street shops. There are regular bus services from the Tomb of the Kings Road every few minutes to all the various towns.
The road leads upwards from the town to Polis and Latchi, where there is a new marina, and is lined with restaurants specialising in fish dishes. A pleasant spot to eat and stay awhile watching the world go by.
Along the Tomb of the Kings Road to the west, lie the famous underground Tombs of the Kings, which are well worth a visit, preferably in the cooler parts of the day. The famous mosaics lie next to Paphos Harbour and stretch along the cliff top towards the lighthouse. The entrance is from the harbour, these are some of the finest mosaics ever discovered, with more still waiting to be discovered.
Sub aqua diving, golf range, parascending, pedalos, all manner of watersports, fishing trips, go-karting, the Aphrodite Water park, trips to Egypt, etc are just some of the pleasures to enjoy in and around Paphos. Some of the parks provide buses from the Tomb of the Kings Road and if you keep your ticket - refunds are available.
There are over 600 bars, restaurants and clubs in and around Paphos, including the famous Bar Street area which is only 10 minutes walk from the apartment - the food is good value and ranges from traditional to contemporary cuisine.
Paphos has three golf courses close by - Aphrodite Hills Golf Course is par 70/71,Tsada Golf Course is par 72, and Secret Valley Golf Course is par 72.
The Akamas Nature Reserve is 20 minutes away for excellent hiking and walking trails. Troodos and Mount Olympus provide ski-ing and snowboarding in the winter months - you can ski in the morning and sunbathe back in Paphos in the afternoon.

We had seen this apartment last year and thought we would give it a try. It was an absolutely fabulous apartment, very modern and well maintained with all the facilities you would need. It is spacious and airey and offers wonderful sea views as well as views of the lighthouse.
It is superbly located within a couple of minutes walk of the beach, restaurants and shops and is only a short walk from the Harbour.
It is surpringly quiet and peaceful even though it is close to the facilities mentioned above. Overall, an excellent and enjoyable holiday. Many thanks
