Danae Gardens is a quiet and private developement in the pictoresque town of Kato Paphos. This is a well presented and equipped two bedroomed maisonette, set in beautiful tranquil surroundings.
Danae Gardens is a five minute walk to the local bars and restaurants and a short walk to the local beach. The main Paphos harbour and Paphos town with its myriad of bars and restaurants is a 15 minute walk. The award winning waterpark is a ten minute walk away, as are he mini-golf and go-karting track. Paphos is suitable for both couples and families.

The Paphos District
The island of Cyprus is located in the eastern Mediterranean sea. There are over 340 days of sunshine per year and can make the perfect all year round holiday destination. Paphos is situated in the south western side of the island, and as history which dates back over thousands of years. It attracts visitors from near and far. It is the mythical birthplace of the aphrodite- the godess of love. It has a mixture of culture withancient enchantment
In Greco-Roman times, Paphos was the island capital and it is famous for the remains of the Roman Govenors palace were extensive , fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The Apposal Paul visited the country in the firsy century. The town of paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of culture and natural treasures of the world's heritage.
Kato Paphos / Danae Gardens area
The property is situated in a quiet and private complex called Danae Gardens, which is conveniently located for all amenities and only a five mins walk to the local shops, bars and restaurants. The main coastal road is a short walk away, and the local beach is a ten minute walk away, with the harbour /main shopping area just a 15minute walk away, with its myriad of bars, tavernas and restaurants. The local bus stop is only a five minute walk away, and the buses service the whole of the paphos region. The pictoresque fishing harbour and ancient fort is a 15 minute walk away. This is the resorts main focal point, which you will find lined with open-air cafes , bars, restaurants and tavernas, aswell as the local bus trips.
Visit the Tomb of the Kings which are very impressive underground tombs which date back to the third century B.C.
There are over 600 bars and restaurants, numerous shops, award winning waterpark and three championship golf-courses in and around Paphos.
A visit to the old town with the bustling market is well worth a visit. Paphos is situated on a beautiful coastline with numerous beaches and you will find the English speaking locals very friendly and eager to help. Also in Cyprus they drive on the left hand side and you will find that all UK appliances will work without the need for an adaptor.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos international airport, our property is just 15 minutes from the airport.
Local buses run regularly beetween the airport and the town.
There are always lots of local taxis available, with fares no more than 25 euros.
Car hire is not necessary within paphos, but if you want to explore the rest of the island then a hire car will be necessary. This can be arranged for you with pick up at the airport and drop off on your departure, this will save you abouts 50 euros. Car hire costs 18 euros per day.

Further details indoors: The property is based on two floors, on the first floor is the master bathroom with wc bath and shower and a vanity unit. There are a further two double bedrooms, one with two single beds and the next, the master bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, bedside cabinets, dressing table and double doors leading onto the balcony looking over the swimming pool/garden areas.
Downstairs there is a cloakroom toilet and an open plan lounge/diner which has two couches and an dining table for six adults. The kitchen area is well equipped for self catering, with all modern appliances including a washing machine.
