The Paphos District
The island of Cyprus is located in the eastern Mediterranean sea. There are over 340 days of sunshine per year and can make the perfect all year round holiday destination. Paphos is situated in the south western side of the island, and as history which dates back over thousands of years. It attracts visitors from near and far. It is the mythical birthplace of the aphrodite- the godess of love. It has a mixture of culture withancient enchantment
In greco-Roman times, Paphos was the island capital and it is famous for the remains of the Roman Govenors palace were extensive , fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The Apposal Paul visited the country in the firsy century. The town of paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of culture and natural treasures of the world's heritage.
Kato Paphos / Ambrosia Gardens area
The property is situated in a quiet and private complex called ambrosia gardens, which is conveniently located for all amenities and only a short walk to the local shops, bars and restaurants. The main coastal road is a short walk away, and the local beach is a ten minute walk away, with the harbour /main shopping area just a 15minute walk away, with its myriad of bars, tavernas and restaurants. The local bus stop is only a five minute walk away, and the buses service the whole of the paphos region. The pictoresque fishing harbour and ancient fort is a 15 minute walk away. This is the resorts main focal point, which you will find lined with open-air cafes , bars, restaurants and tavernas, aswell as the local bus trips.
Visit the Tomb of the Kings which are very impressive underground tombs which date back to the third century B.C.
There are over 600 bars and restaurants, numerous shops, award winning waterpark and three championship golf-courses in and around Paphos.
A visit to the old town with the bustling market is well worth a visit. Paphos is situated on a beautiful coastline with numerous beaches and you will find the English speaking locals very friendly and eager to help. Also in Cyprus they drive on the left hand side and you will find that all UK appliances will work without the need for an adaptor.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos international airport, our property is just 15 minutes from the airport.
Local buses run regularly beetween the airport and the town.
There are always lots of taxis available, with fares no more than 25 euro.
Car hire is not necessary within paphos, but if you want to explore the rest of the island then it will be a good idea to hire one. This can be arranged for you, and they will pick you up at the airport on arrival with a hire car and drop you off on your return this will save you 50euros and car hire works out about 18euros per day.

Further details indoors: This is a very spacious townhouse with three bedrooms.Two of the bedrooms have two single beds in, bedside cabinets and fitted wardrobes. The third bedroom which is the master bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. all bedrooms have air conditioning. On the first floor is the family bathroom with a four piece bathroom suite and a shower.
Downstairs there is a a tiled hall area, off which is a newly fitted and tiled cloakroom toilet and staircaes leading upstairs to the first floor. The hallway then leads into the kitchen area, which has a fully fitted new modern kitchen with excellent cooking facxilities. The open plan lounge/diner with its oak dining table and leather sofas is open from the kitchen area and which leads onto the patio area, directly down to the swimming pool and garden areas.
