Home description
Built around a private landscaped piazza in warm muted colours, its lawns, shrubs, fountain, ornamental pools, columns, cupolas and arches provide a uniquely relaxing retreat, echoing the period in the 1500’s when Cyprus was ruled by Venetian kings - perfect for anyone seeking an independent holiday.
The shared swimming pool is directly overlooked by one of our three balconies. There is a balcony for each of the double bedrooms. One of the three settees in the living area is a sofabed, providing extra sleeping space if needed. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and there is a second separate bathroom. Separately there is a third WC. The 48 ft living room has separate dining and lounge areas.
The apartment has full air-conditioning, and windows and patios doors have sliding fly screens so that they can be left open. The well-equipped fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar.
Our reserved underground parking space is conveniently located near the bottom of the lift though, given the apartment’s location, a car is not required to enjoy Paphos town.

The Paphos District
Paphos (Pafos in Greek) is perhaps best known as the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the most ancient Goddess in the Olympic pantheon. In Hellenistic and Roman times, Paphos was also the capital of Cyprus. So today, due to its archaeological treasures, the town is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the gateway to some beautiful coastline as well as to some of the wildest unspoilt countryside including the Akamas peninsula and the Troodos mountains which preserve a traditional way of life that goes back centuries. Paphos also gives its name to the whole of the administrative district that stretches up to Latchi (Latsi) on the northwest coast. Cyprus is the most sun-sure place in the Mediterranean. Kato Paphos area
Our apartment is right in the centre of Paphos, in one direction about 10 minutes walk to the harbour, in the other a similar distance to the Old Town and markets, and five minutes to the nearest beach, making car hire an option not a necessity. Paphos is a balance of old and new, with all the attractions of an island coastal town alongside an abundance of ancient treasures. Paphos provides plenty for children to enjoy as well as being a centre for water sports, golf, cycling, walking and even winter skiing (Feb/March) in the nearby Troodos mountains which rise 10,000 feet to the peak of Mount Olympus.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos direct – our apartment is a 15-20 minute drive from the airport.
We can arrange airport transfers if necessary.
Flights are available through BA, Cyprus Airways, Thomas Cook, Thomson Fly, First Choice, Monarch and many others.
