Our apartment in The Royal Complex is ideally located just off Tomb of The Kings Road in the heart of Kato Paphos. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 2 minutes to all amenities, including the local shops for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
This apartment offers comfort and relaxation and consists of a double bedroom with airconditioning & ceiling fan, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
The spacious air conditioned lounge comes complete with 1 double sofa bed and 1 sofa, leading onto the furnished balcony for the perfect al fresco dining. The shared pool has a large sun bathing area complete with loungers.
For those who just can't get away from shopping there is a retail park close by with a very large Next store and a Debenhams.

The Paphos District
Paphos is situated in the western penninsular of the island and only a 15min drive from the airport., The resort town has as its focal point a charming fishing harbor by Paphos Fort, lined with open-air cafés and taverns that serve a tempting menu of the day's catch.
The average daytime temperature from June to September is 32 C, from December to February 16 C and from March to May, and October to November 25 C. Glorious weather, sun-soaked beaches and a variety of restaurants, bars and shops makes Paphos appealing to both young and old. English is widely spoken and cars drive on the left as in the UK.

The seafront, shops, restaurants and bars are only 10 minutes away. Bus stops are conveniently placed for the frequent and inexpensive buses which will take you to the heart of Paphos town, the bustling harbour and to the beautiful sandy beach at Coral Bay.
Paphos and the surrounding area has something for everyone. Ski-ing in winter in the Troodos mountains only an hour away. Two/three day cruises to Egypt and the Holy Land. Excellent golf courses, and for the beach lovers, a wide range of watersports.
There is much to explore - the Tombs of the Kings, Mosaics, the baths of Aphrodite, monastries, vineyards, wineries to name but a few. It is easy to get around as it is well connected to the rest of the island by scenic routes or motorway and within only a few kilometres you can be in an area of rugged hills and impressive countryside.
The stunning Troodos mountains have natural waterfalls and breathtaking scenery which you can visit either by hiring a car and exploring the mountains at your leisure or by joining a jeep safari. Ski-ing in the Troodos mountains is often possible in the winter months. For those who prefer the night life there are plenty of bars and night clubs which open until the early hours.

in Paphos you do not need a car , however it is nice to take the opportunity to hire a car even for a few days to get around to see the lovely island and take advantage of visiting a real cypriot village and trying the local food.

The balcony features a table and chairs being the perfect place for alfresco dining, relaxing, and generally soaking up the warm Cyprus sunshine.

Maria Merino March 08 - Beautiful 1st impressions. Apartment well equipped and clean. Silicone smell in the bathroom from newly fitted suite, compensated with 2 cold bottles of wine and beers in the fridge waiting for us. Love the decoration, even candles provided. I realised I'm getting old when I appreciated the big size of the fridge and the good quality of the frying pan. Good to find so many clean beach towels. Thanks to Iain for his help.
