Home description
This brand new apartment was completed in june 2007 and is now available for rent.
It is located in the quiet residential area known as Universal Gardens and has a small snack bar and mini market only 200-250m away.
We are situated right in front of the swimming pool, perfectly placed for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. We are also only a 15 -20 minute walk or 3 minute drive into the harbour area of Paphos where there are many bars, restaurants and shops.
The apartment is furnished to a high standard with hopefully everything you need to make your stay both enjoyable and comfortable and is ideal for both families and couples alike. The large patio is perfect for eating, drinking, relaxing and enjoying the wonderful Cypriot lifestyle.
There is plenty of car parking on site, however due to the location of the apartment and reliability of local taxis which are easy to find and good value for money a car isn't essential (the walk down to the harbour is mainly flat).

The Paphos District
Cyprus and particularly Paphos is an all year round holiday destination enjoying on average 340 days of sunshine each year. Some of the smaller bars and restaurants are only open from Easter through to the end of October, however there are still plenty that remain open throughout the milder months which are December through to March although the temperature rarely drops beneath 15c.
Our favourite bars in Paphos are Zorros Bar and also Flintstones. Our favourite restaurants are The Alkion, The Moorings and The Pelican.
Don't forget that Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its mosaics at the harbour and also the Tombs of the Kings which date back to the 4th century BC.
Kato Paphos / Universal Gardens area
Kato Paphos has a lovely harbour dominated by the Old Fort with many bars and restaurants to sit and relax in. There are three local 18 hole golf courses all within a 30 minute drive of the apartment:
Aphrodite Hills Secret Valley Tsada
If mini golf is more your game there is an excellent 18 hole course 3mins drive away and 15 minutes by foot.
There is also a local water park in Paphos www.aphroditewaterpark.com and a local karting circuit which is beside the mini-golf.
Blue flag beaches with watersports facilities within walking distance of the apartment.
The Paphos Bird and Animal Park is a 15 minute drive away and is open 365 days a year www.pafosbirdpark.com

There are also several small wineries in the Paphos area which are only a short drive away and offer free tastings.

Sorry but we do not allow pets.
We would also request that you do not smoke inside the apartment. We are non smokers as are a lot of our guests. We have no objection to you smoking outside on the patio. Whilst we cannot enforce this policy your respect of our wishes would be greatly appreciated as this is also our holiday home. We do however reserve the right to retain the breakages deposit to clean the curtains/furniture abrics and walls should you be found to have smoked inside during your stay.

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to confirm the booking and full payment is required a minimum of 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable breakages deposit of £100 is also payable at this time and will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return provided all is well.

Vacating the apartment on Departure day:
We would request that all guests vacate the apartment before 12 noon. However if the apartment is not booked by other guests that day and the cleaning staff can work their schedule around you (and we do not incur any extra cleaning charges) we will be happy to allow you to use the apartment longer on your day of departure at no extra charge.
