About the home

This comfortable property is perfect for that family getaway. Situated in the popular Universal area of Paphos it is within easy access of the town, harbour and the beach. A car is not essential but a bonus if you want to tour our wonderful island.

The property offers a fitted kitchen for all those self catering requirements, large open plan lounge dining area opening out onto a terraced area overlooking the communal pool. Upstairs are two well appointed bedrooms with shutters at the windows to keep the rooms cooler in the summer. The property offers full air-conditioning.

The Paphos region

Paphos is bursting with things to do and see, from historical features to modern day shops. Ideally the best way to explore this exciting area is by hire car. Each day you can set off to a different location.

The cosmopolitan lifestyle of Limassol or Larnaca, the buzzing night life of Ayia Napa, the alpine feel of the Troodos mountains. Besides this on route to all of these you will pass through and by the most amazing idyllic villages, steeped in history and culture.

Cyprus hosts some of the most beautiful religious buildings, one of the most beautiful is in Kykkos near the Troodos mountains. It is a working monastery, portraying the most wonderful wall paintings and architecture. Near to the monastery are quaint local stores offering local produced fayre, some of which comes from the monastery.

The Paphos area also hosts a world heritage site at Tomb of the Kings, where you can see archaeological relics from time gone by. For those who love to walk take a trip to the Akamas gorge, this is breath taking.

There is so much to do in Cyprus, come and explore for yourself.

The Kato Paphos / Universal area

Take a walk around Pano Paphos and admire the fantastic architecture. Visit the Tourist office in the town and find the best places to see and go.

Amble through the streets in the town, see modern day shops, even British High Street names, together with the old style Cypriot traders nearby.

Paphos comes alive at night, there is entertainment for all tastes and culinary delights to suit the same. All styles of restaurants adorn the streets in and around the Universal and Paphos area.

If you decide not to hire a car then you can buy an all day bus ticket for the Paphos area, currently priced at 2 euros. Head out towards Coral Bay, Peyia, or the villages close by.
