Tastefully furnished in contemporary style, this spacious apartment has everything one could wish for to ensure a truly relaxing holiday. The apartment has been furnished to ensure every possible comfort and facilities are available to you, the guest. Full air conditioning (at no additional charge) and a separate, elegantly furnished private balcony off the living area ensures that cool air is available whatever the time of day. You can hear the tranquil water fountains from your balcony.

The kitchen is fitted with new and modern appliances including full size Fridge-Freezer and cooker with extractor, microwave and a flat screen TV. Satelite channels include BBC1, BBC2 and ITV there is also a Sony mini Hi-Fi in the living area. There is also a DVD player in the living room and you are welcome to bring your own DVD's along to play there.

The Paphos District

HISTORY & LEGEND: Ancient Capital of the west of Cyprus, rich in history – a charming fishing harbour, lined with open-air cafes and tavernas, and a historic site with preserved ancient mosaics etcetera.

The legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, mythological goddess of beauty and love.

The rock formation 'Petra Tou Romiou' (the Venus rock) marks where she is said to have risen from the sea.

Nicosia and Larnaca are at the centre – about 2 hrs drive.

How to get there

FLIGHTS direct to Paphos can be found readily through websites like www.TravelRepublic.co.uk, lastminute.com and flightsdirect.com. Look for Charter flight deals with for example Thomas Cook and in particularly Excel Airways. Of course Cyprus Airways flys direct from Heathrow Airport.

British Airways seem good with cheap deals sometimes from about £120.00 return. Direct flights from Birmingham or Gatwick are generally available for around £130 to £250 adult return depending on when you go. If you are able to fly in mid week it helps a lot. Some flights go via Manchester.

There are taxis and coaches from Paphos Airport. Expect to pay a taxi £17-25 for the 20 minute drive.
Queen's Gardens is off the The Tomb of the Kings Road, Kato Paphos very close to restaurants and amenities for when you arrive.

There are several car companies operating out of Paphos Airport, depending on the season expect to pay approx £12 per day for a basic car. Some car companies charge separately for insurance and petrol whilst some include it in their price. If you are planning a trip to the Troodos mountains or to the Baths of Adonis then a four wheel drive would be recommended. Deals are sometimes done on a four wheel drive, but in peak season they can cost as much as £25.00 per day. Most companies expect a full licence which has been held between 1-2 years. Driving is on the left side of the road so there is no difference if you are from the United Kingdom. There is underground parking at the flat and an allocated parking space for you to keep the car. Alternatively if you wish to have a car for a few days then there are several car hire companies on the Tomb of the Kings Road, several are quite happy to collect the car from the airport if you wish to leave it there at the end of the holiday. We are quite happy to recommend car companies to you and if you let us know in adavance we will be able to tell you what deals they have on the vehicle that you require.

If you wish to fly into Larnaca airport, then it is almost inevitable that you will need a car. During peak season, when flights get booked up, some people find that there are still deals if you fly into Larnaca. Larnaca International Airport is approx 140km (87 miles) from Paphos. Again there are several car rental companies operating out of the airport.

Please note that if you are travelling by air into Cyprus, you may enter only through the International airports of Paphos or Larnaca. Airports in the occupied North of Cyprus have been declared closed by the Republic of Cyprus and as such you are viewed as having made an illegal entrance into Cyprus if you travel to the Southern parts of the Island.

There are ferry boat cruises from Cyprus to Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Greece and the Greek Islands. Cyprus is often referred to as the gateway to the Eastern Mediterranean. Many cruise companies take you through that gateway to the Eastern Mediterranean from the port of Lemesos (Limassol). Cruises can be arranged from as little as two days to longer periods, two day options in the summer months include two day cruises to Lebanon, which includes a visit to Beirut for shopping.

The large open plan living area has a large 32inch flat screen TV with satellite TV channels and hi-fi system. The apartment has a UK style three way plug system. There is also a sofa bed in this area.

The interior and balcony seating is made from rattan and bamboo. Their are two leather sofa beds. Indoor dining is catered for with a glass and steel table for four and the open plan kitchen has has everything required for self catering such as an electric hob and extractor, microwave, fridge-freezer and granite worktops. There is also a toaster, kettle, coffee maker and all the cooking and eating utensils one could require.

The fully tiled bathroom is immaculate, it has a bath with shower and large mirror.

The spacious airconditioned bedroom features a deluxe rattan double bed with brand new mattress and side tables. There is ample wardrobe and drawer space. There is a hairdryer, clock radio, mirror, hoover, airer as well as iron and ironing board. There is also a safe in the bedroom cupboard.

If you decide to rent a car then the apartment has its own designated car parking space.

• Queens Gardens is built round a beautiful private central square with fountain, ponds and cupolas.

• Pool bar open from 1st May to 31st October - self-service offering cold snacks, drinks and draught beer (will only operate when "club is not functioning").
• Club opens 16th July 2007 and will run all year (unless shut for maintenance). Winter season November-April 9:00am - 18:00pm and Summer season May-October 10:00am-19:00pm. Club will offer bar meals and will have some vending machines. A small convenience store will also operate there.
• Gym open all year round (unless closed for maintenance). Winter season November-April 9:00am-18:00pm and Summer Season May-October 10:00am-19:00pm. Gym will operate below the club as a dedicated fitness area. Gym costs CY£3.00 per session for 2007 or a 7 day pass for CY£10.00 (please note that prices can be subject to change and that the gym is not a supervised area).
• Fee for jacuzzi or sauna is set at CY£3.00 per hourly session (please note that prices can be subject to change).
• Quiet and private with controlled access, tranquility and is exclusive.

PAYMENT can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer. All payments received will be acknowledged. Please note that at present we do not accept paypal.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE Arrival time at Apartment 3.00pm ; Departure time 10:00AM (May be able to vary depending on circumstances. If we can we will allow a 12:00 departure time)

KEYS will be collected from a key box at the apartment. We will give directions from Paphos airport and maps. Key code will be provided close to your arrival date and will be changed on your departure.

FLIGHTS to Cyprus and transfers from the airport to the villa are not included in the rental price and must be booked separately. With prior notice our management company can arrange transfers from Paphos Airport (Sundays excluded) price given on request.

BOOKING At least one month before your arrival we will require details of lead passenger name, contact details, departure and arrivale dates, flight numbers and times (or alternatively mode of transport taken to the resort).

LINEN: All linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. However, we do ask you to bring your own towels for the pool and beach.

EMERGENCIES: You will be supplied with the telephone number of our property manager in Paphos who will be able to help you.

CURRENCY: Bring some local currency for airport transfers and basic provisions. There are plenty of banks and money exchange places within a short walk.

LANGUAGE: Greek is the native language but everyone in the tourist area speaks good English.

MEDICAL SERVICES: Details of the nearest pharmacy and hospital are contained in the information pack in the villa. Emergency treatment is free for tourists in Cyprus.


Conditions

BOOKING CONDITIONS
• No smoking permitted within apartment (balcony and garden area OK).
• Guests to replace any breakages, with matching items of the same quality.
• Guest to comply with the community rules, regulations.
• Confirm availability of apartment before booking flights.
• Provisional apartment booking will be held for 1 week to allow flights to be booked and deposit to be sent.
• Booking only accepted/secure on receipt of deposit and clearance of cheque.
• Balance to be paid at least 6 weeks before start date of holiday.
• Non payment of balance will cancel booking and the deposit will be forfeited.
• Deposits:- GB£25% of full rental (smaller deposits may be accepted for long bookings, discounts can be negotiated on bookings over one month).
Cancellation:-
• Greater than 6 weeks before start date of holiday - Deposit returned if able to let property to someone else for similar period.
• Between 6 & 4 weeks before start date of holiday - Deposit forfeited.
• Less than 4 weeks before start date of holiday - Total holiday cost forfeited only if unable to re-let.
