For the summer there is the pool, easy access to the beach, water sports and Kato Paphos town. The air conditioning and fans in all rooms are a must.
Since the living area faces from south-east round to west, for the winter there is light all day, plus heaters in the living- and bathrooms for the cooler evenings.

We offer internet access, satellite television, internet TV including British, German and Russian channels and a large library of DVDs and books, to keep the children entertained while you are changing, to entertain you if you don't want to go out or if you stay for a longer period.

Our guests comment on how well equipped and beautifully furnished the apartment is – often 'better than at home'.
All linen and towels are provided so that all you need to bring is your clothes.
Private sun loungers are also available - no need to struggle with other holidaymakers.

There is parking space on the complex if you wish to hire a car to travel to the mountains, Paphos Forest or the Akamas.

The Paphos region

Paphos has 'everything'. It is a coastal resort with beaches, water sports, restaurants, nightlife and tourist shopping. The hub of the holiday area, with its promenade, is around the picturesque harbour and medieval fort. This is Kato Paphos or lower Paphos.
Although no longer a small fishing village, it is generally quieter than the resorts such as Ayia Napa at the eastern end of the island.

Paphos is also, however, the administrative town for the Paphos region. As a result, the 'upper town' also provides modern official buildings and larger shops. The market is in the upper town. In hot weather the excellent bus service takes you easily up the hill.

Cyprus has a long history of being a strategically important island at the eastern end of the Mediterranean, invaded and inhabited by the Phoenicians, Romans, Crusaders, British and more. As a result there is a rich legacy of many fascinating historical sites. Paphos itself has a UN World Heritage status for its Mosaics, "Tombs of the Kings", amphitheatre and more.

The beautiful countryside around includes the Troodos mountains (to nearly 2,000 metres) and Paphos Forest, as well as the Akamas Peninsula nature reserve. Go walking in the cooler air of the mountains or swimming/snorkelling from the myriad small bays with beautiful clear water. Or visit the traditional villages and wineries in the hills.

The weather in summer is normally very hot with seldom any rain – making air conditioning important for comfort at home. In winter we like to think of it as being like an English summer – a bit more unpredictable but still very comfortable with many hot and sunny days. The sun remains high in the sky and rain usually comes in short storms, not lasting all day. It is a beautiful place to spend a long winter escape from the North.

In winter and spring you have the added bonus of flourishing green meadows and hillsides, with flowers.

The Kato Paphos / Limnaria Gardens area

Kato Paphos is the sea-front part of Paphos, with its beaches, hotels and walking areas. The town here is small and centred on the harbour with many restaurants, shops and a 'bar street' set back from the main front.

The Limnaria area is in the ideal position for Kato Paphos, being away from the main coastal road, therefore quiet – yet within 5-10 minutes walk of the sea, beaches, restaurants and the town centre.

The harbour itself is picturesque, with its medieval fort and boats moored alongside. From the harbour you can take cruises or go snorkelling/diving or fishing. The water is so good that there are facilities for swimming (changing rooms and diving boards) directly at the harbour.

The promenade extends well beyond the town itself, allowing for a 5 km paved saunter along the sea front or, if you don't mind some rougher ground, over 20 km from the airport to Coral Bay and beyond.

Close to the harbour you can visit the famous Mosaics, "Tombs of the Kings" and 'Paul's Pillar' area, where St Paul preached. A few hundred metres inland are catacombs.

There are many small, protected beaches along the coast here, for sunbathing, swimming or, in some places, other water sports such as jet-skiing or kite surfing.

The bus services are cheap and run regularly to the upper town and along the coast road from the airport to Coral Bay and beyond, past the main hotels, or to Polis and Latchi on the north coast.

If you wish to travel to the mountains, the inner part of the Akamas or further afield, you will need to take a car – or maybe go on a 'jeep safari' across the wilder areas.

There are also 4 (3 championship-level) golf courses within 20-30 minutes drive.
