Home description

Centrally located, our air-conditioned, 2 bedroom first floor apartment has been stylishly furnished to offer you a very comfortable holiday home. Great attention has been paid to detail to make this an apartment for the discerning holiday maker or winter sun-seeker looking for that something extra.

Situated in the popular Kato Paphos area, Aphrodite Gardens is a small, select, gated development of only 32 apartments with attractive gardens and a communal pool. Located only 10 minutes walk from the pedestrianised bar and restaurant area, this apartment will appeal to those wanting a quiet, refined base from which to explore the outstanding Paphos district. Our housekeepers live on site and are available to help and advise you.

The open plan living area is comfortably furnished with one of the sofas opening into a sprung mattress double bed. There is Freesat TV (all UK channels) a DVD player and mini Hi-Fi with a number of DVD’s and CD’s plus a selection of books and board games. There is a Pay as You Go MOBILE PHONE for guests to use for booking restaurants, taxis etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fan oven, hob,extractor, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a large fridge/freezer, together with a full range of cutlery, china, glassware and cookware. A Welcome Pack is provided FREE OF CHARGE for your comfort on arrival.

Patio doors from the lounge lead to the balcony where you can dine al fresco overlooking the courtyard garden and pool. We have provided SUNBEDS for you to take to the pool and BEACH TOWELS to save on your luggage space.

One bedroom has twin single beds (which can be pushed together if required) and the other a double bed, all with good quality orthopaedic mattresses. Both bedrooms have ample storage. The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over. A cot and high chair are available on request.

The Paphos District

At the western end of Cyprus, which enjoys in excess of 300 days of sunshine a year, the Paphos District has a wide variety of interest for the holidaymaker. From mountain top monasteries, nature reserves and trails to beaches, golf courses and shopping, there is something for everyone to enjoy.


Kato Paphos / Aphrodite Gardens area

Centred around the harbour and ancient fort, the World Heritage site of Paphos has stunning Roman mosaics, impressive underground tombs and the mythological site of Aphrodite’s birthplace. There is a wonderful covered market in the old town and more modern shops in Kato Paphos. Along with excellent beaches, a bowling alley, Karting, Sea cruises, Quad Bikes, Jeep Safaris and the Aphrodite Water Park, Paphos will keep all the family entertained. In the evenings enjoy the vibrant nightlife with a variety of restaurants, bars and tavernas. In August Opera lovers can enjoy the Paphos Aphrodite Festival set against the stunning backdrop of the Harbour Fort and throughout July there is the Festival for the Youth. September brings a variety of outdoor concerts also at the Fort, a truly romantic setting.


How to get there

Fly direct to Paphos International from many UK airports. Taxis are available at the airport for the 20 minute drive to the apartment with prices typically €30. We can arrange "meet and greet" if you wish, via our local contact.

You could also fly to Larnaca airport but this is a 90 minute drive to the apartment. Again we can quote for “meet and greet” if you require.

The rental includes cleaning and a change of linen at the end of each week. Extra cleaning and/or linen changes can be arranged at a small additional cost. eg in the middle of a one week stay or a second time during a 2 week stay.
The apartment has a safe for you to use.

Further details outdoors:
A couple of hundred metres away is a small supermarket open 16 hours a day 7 days a week selling everything for day to day living, including English newspapers.
There is a larger supermarket about 15 minutes walk away.
At the rear of the apartment block is vehicle access via an electric gate. We have a private parking space adjacent to our outside staircase.
If you don't know Paphos well don't be fooled by other advertisers saying they are only 30 minutes walk from the harbour - they're often miles out of town! We're in a quiet position but you can easily walk to the restaurants and harbour.

Conditions

We have a no-smoking policy which applies both in the apartment and on the balcony.
As this is a residential complex, you are requested not to use the swimming pool at night.

Bookings made less than 8 weeks in advance must be accompanied by payment in full PLUS the GBP£100 security deposit.
