The Paphos District
Cyprus has an excellent climate with high temperatures and sun most of the year making it an ideal all year round destination. There are pleasant cooling sea breezes on this west facing coastal area . Paphos was the capital of Cyprus a few centuries ago, and subsequently there are many historical sites within easy walking distance.
The Tombs of the Kings are 10 minutes walk from the apartment, whilst there is an extensive archaelogical site close to Paphos Harbour. Paphos is divided into two parts, Klitma or Higher Paphos, which comprises the main Paphos Town and Business district, whilst Kato Paphos is the lower part including the Harbour and the tourist area.
The harbour is a mere 30 minutes walk, or short bus ride, from the King Danaos complex. It is the hub, with many bars, tavernas and shops as well as the picturesque old fort and rows of boats. A common sight is the local pelican.

The Tombs of the KIngs is an important archaelogical site covering an extensive area, between the main coast road and the Mediterranean Sea. All along this road are numerous restaurants, shops, bars, travel agents (for local trips), car hire agents and many other amenities.
The sea is just a few minutes walk from the apartment, whilst the Municipal Beach with facilities is about 20 minutes away. Exciting day trips include the Troodos Mountains, providing access to Monasteries, Wineries, Walking trails and Nature itself. The wonderful scent from the pine forests and wild plants is indescribable. Jeep Safaris also go to the Akamas Peninsula, around which the Turtles make their nests on the beaches.
Golf Courses are about a 15 minute drive from the area. For Children, there is an Animal Park plus a Water park. Special bus services are available to these attractions. During your stay why not hire a car and explore further afield?

Further details indoors: The apartment is attractively furnished with with all the necessary furniture and equipment for and enjoyable stay. there is also air con in all the main areas and balconies to the lounge and one bedroom. there are separate toilets for each bedroom. The apartment is above average size and will easily sleep 4 persons in the two large bedrooms plus if you require a Z bed in the lounge this can be arranged ( at a cost of £ 30-00 per week ),please confirm at the time of booking.
Further details outdoors: There is a communial pool with sun beds and umbrellas with toilets and showers for guests use. The apartment has a private car park in case you hire out a car, to visit other areas of the island. Table and chairs are available on the balcony
