Home description
As you walk through the main front door you will notice the space & airiness of the accommodation. To the left you will encounter the compact but practical kitchen which incorporates a fully functioning oven & hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle & toaster. In the living area you will find two 'drop down' and very comfortable sofa beds, Flat screen TV, Satellite, DVD & CD players. Through the connecting door, you will enter the master bedroom, complete with King Size bed (memory foam mattress) together with a large '6 draw' chest of draws, bedside cabinets and wardrobe space. The bathroom has a bath (with shower over), toilet and vanity sink. As you walk out of the bedroom through the patio doors, you will marvel at the views of the sea from the double sized balcony. Complete with a table & 4 chairs, 2 sun beds & cushions you will totally feel that you have all that you need to enjoy your 'Paphos' holiday experience. Walking off the balcony through the patio doors into the Living Room completes your tour of the apartment. This is a well equipped, fully air-conditioned 1st Floor Apartment located at the award winning Regina Gardens complex.
All the doors have Sola Reflective Screens that keep out the insects whilst keeping the apartment cool from the suns rays. Each room has both Air-Conditioning and Ceiling Fans to add to your comfort.

The Paphos District
Paphos was once the Islands Capital. It is a relaxing seaside resort on the South West corner of the island. It enjoys year round sunshine with an average summer temperature of around 35'C and an average winter minimum temperature of 25'C.This is an island of adventure and history, the birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite and the gateway to Egypt, Asia and Africa. An Island of contrasts from the cool pine covered Troodos Mountains to the miles of attractive coastline with golden beaches and crystal clear waters, Cyprus has something for everyone. English is widely spoken across the island and driving is on the left.

PAPHOS REGION CATERS FOR EVERYONE: Beautiful peaceful countryside, cosmopolitan resort, great beaches, excellent nightlife and restaurants, historical sites, numerous activities, close to golf courses. Cyprus is almost guaranteed sunshine every day and so a great time to relax and enjoying all that is there. A choice of sporting activities: golf, mini golf, 'go karting', water sports, fishing and hiking. A big water park for the kids and a bird sanctuary too.
COAST/BEACHES: The nearest beach is within 10 minutes walk, or alternatively you can take a short bus/car journey to Coral Bay Beach and Vardas Beach with their golden sands. Further out are numerous secluded sandy bays and unspoilt beaches of the Akamas Peninsular.
GOLF: 3 top quality 18 hole courses within easy driving distance open all year round. Tsada; stunning scenery, in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains. Secret Valley; Dramatic sculptural rock formations. Aphrodite; Stunning views of the sea and excellent clubhouse.
SKIING: Between January and March at Mount Olympus, one hour’s drive. 4 ski lifts and several cafes/restaurants.
SHOPPING: Bustling centres have everything from local handicrafts to designer labels.
NIGHTLIFE: Enjoy a drink and a meal at one of many bars or restaurants. Dance at one of the many nightclubs. Or just put your feet up and relax with a book by the pool.
PAPHOS has something for everyone, whether sun-seeker, classicist, historian, explorer, nature lover, golfer, sports enthusiast or for a relaxing romantic Greek style holiday with superb scenery.
TOMB OF THE KINGS, Ancient Burial site is walking distance from the Apartment. Local Bars, Tavernas, Restaurants and Mini Supermarkets are also but a few minutes walk away.
DISTANCES: The delightful Harbour and medieval fort of Paphos are 10 minutes bus ride away. Picturesque trails in Troodos Mountains or the rugged beauty of the Akamas Peninsular about 1 hour’s drive or bus ride.
Limassol, the largest resort is an hour’s drive. Nicosia and Larnaca are at the centre – about 2 hrs drive. Trips to Egypt, Rhodes and Symi, can be arranged by the local Tourist Information Office.
How to get there
Flights to Cyprus depart from most main UK airports. Cyprus has two international airports at Lanaca & Paphos. The Apartment is approximately 20 mins from Paphos Airport and about 1.5 - 2 hrs from Larnaca. A new terminal has now opened at Paphos Airport Taxi fare from Paphos is approximately 30 Euros ( About 25 pounds stirling)

Further details indoors: We have tried to give you the very best of equipment & furnishings to enhance your holiday experience. The satellite has been installed so that you do not miss your favourite programs & soaps! BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 & Channel 5 are all accessible, together with ITV2, BBC3, BBC4, SKY & BBC News and three film channels. There is a separate DVD player and a CD/ Radio. Also spare bedding & towels, together with enough cookware, crockery, cutlery & glasses for your everyday needs. The dining experience centres outside on the balcony with a table & 4 chairs, however we have also provided a table & chairs inside for those rare occasions that Cyprus has ' a drop of rain'. We have a long running 'paperback' library in which our guests have been encouraged to leave their 'spent' books for you to read by the pool. This has worked extremely well with now a varied selection to choose from.
The apartment is fully Air conditioned to all rooms together with 'remote control' to each unit.
A digital safe is also installed to secure your passports & valuables throughout your stay.
Further details outdoors: There are two large swimming pools with an adjacent children's paddling pool set in attractive communal gardens. Showers are provided by the pool and toilet facilities located underneath. The pool is cleaned by 'Robin' everyday which ensures it stays in tip-top condition (it has been widely commented that the pool is probably the best that guests have used in many years). An adjacent paddling pool ensures that the little ones are not left out! Two private Sun Loungers (with cushions) are provided at the Communal Pool for your personal use.
All around the apartment building & pool area are beautifully maintained & mature gardens, somewhat of a rarity in Cyprus! The complex has won a number of awards for the presentation and upkeep of the gardens which is very noticeable on arrival. There is ample 'covered' parking space on the ground floor beneath the Apartment. The apartment is lift accessible (which is located outside of the front door of the Apartment).
The apartment is within easy walking distance to all amenities including: Banks, Bars, Restaurants, Shops and a 24 hour Medical Centre. Located nearby is a small Mini Supermarket and Bakery just down the road, together with a reasonably priced Bar some 150m from the apartment which will show all the latest sports games (football etc) on a nightly basis. This all adds to having a convenient and relaxing holiday experience

This apartment is available all year. Bookings are taken on a 'first come, first pay basis'. We require a deposit of 30% to secure your booking with the balance paid 10 weeks before your departure. For bookings of two weeks we will discount the rate by 10%, for three weeks - 20% and 4 and over - 30%. There is an additional (refundable) deposit of £150 required against key return and to cover any breakages. There is no charge for extra bedding or towels unless you specifically require it. This will be at a rate of £20pw. We can accommodate longer stays of 2 - 4 months at a rate of £450 per month (inclusive of bills) paid in advance. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer (to either UK or Cypriot banks), together with the facility to pay by Debit or Credit Card via Paypal (there will be a 3% transaction fee for this process).
There is also a Two Bedroom apartment available in the same block and both may be rented together with an additional 5% reduction of the overall cost. Please ask Steve for additional details & availability.
Smokers are welcome at the property - but only using the balcony. Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited.
Conditions
Weekly bookings:
10% discount from bookings of two weeks 20% discount for bookings of three weeks 30% discount for bookings of four weeks or more but less than two months.
An additional discount of 5% is offered for bookings made before 1 January 2010 and repeat clients.
A further 5% is deducted from each total if both apartments are booked together.
Lets of two - four months is available by arrangement.
This is a 1st Floor, One Bedroom Apartment which is located about 50m from the Pool area to ensure a quieter, relaxing stay.
This apartment is particularly suited to older couples!
There is a local Car Hire Company close by with reasonably priced vehicles. A vehicle may be left at the airport for you to collect as required. Please ask Steve for further details.

To secure a booking, a 30% deposit is required with the full balance to be paid 10 weeks prior to departure.
Bookings made within 10 weeks of departure must be accompanied by payment in full. Booking reservations will be held for 5 days only.
A refundable breakage deposit of £150 will be required 10 weeks before departure. This will will be returned to you within 14 days of your return, following an on site management check.

Steve & David, we have just spent three fabulous weeks in your apartment & oh! What an apartment. It is – everything we could have hoped for and more!! The welcome pack was most appreciated as we arrived late evening and as this is our first visit to Cyprus the ‘info pack’ was invaluable. We did not bother with the car as all essentials (beach, shops, and restaurants) are within walking distance and the local bus service was cheap & dependable if we wanted to go further afield. The balcony is to die for!! When we were at home (and it was so comfortable it felt like home) we almost lived on the balcony. What an asset Mark & Eileen are – always sociable & ready to help if need – a great comfort knowing they are only downstairs.
