About the home

This wonderful bungalow is situated in a quiet location within walking distance of Kathikas village. It offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside and is ideally located for either Polis, Latchi or Coral Bay areas. Air conditioned throughout.

The lounge/dining area is comfortably furnished with the added benefit of the most fantastic views of the Kathikas region looking down to the Polis coastline.

There is ample parking space and the property is surrounded by professionaly landscaped gardens which in turn are surrounded by the Kathikas vineyards.

The nearest neighbours being about 100 metres away makes this bungalow a most peaceful, relaxing retreat.

After visiting the sites in Paphos, a World Heritage site, you will find the higher altitude and lower humidity most pleasant in Kathikas when relaxing by the pool.

The property is cared for by a professional Property Management team who ensure it is maintained to a high standard. They are available to deal with any enquiries or problems that may arise from your initial enquiry to the return of your security deposit.

The bungalow is equipped with a full range of outdoor furniture in order for you to fully enjoy the outstanding beauty of the setting and the wonderful weather of Cyprus. You are provided with a gas BBQ.

The pool is managed on a weekly basis. Cleaned twice weekly in the summer.

The Paphos region

Cyprus is renowned for its nearly all year round sunshine, you can step back in time and visit the Amphitheatre at Kourion and wonder at the artifacts on display, remember to take your camera with you, you also have the fantastic mosaics there together with The House of Eustolios, remember that camera and water!

Use your 4X4 to explore the Troodos Mountains or the nearby Akamas Penninsula, take in the scenery and aromas of Cedar Valley, fantastic! Remember to make sure you have a full tank of petrol before you set out though as petrol stations are few and far between. Don't forget that camera and water!

For those who enjoy the game of golf the closest course is Tsada Golf Club established in 1994, the first course designed by Donald Steel. Par 72 - 6,855 yards and located amongst vineyards, next to a 12th century monastery it is bathed in cooling sea breezes in the summer season. Tsada is a challenging course which has an excellent club house, swimming pool with all changing facilities and is only about a 30 minute drive away.

For those who want to go further afield within an hours drive you will find the Secret Valley Golf Club (Par 72 - 6,737 yards) a championship course surrounded by stunning rock formations and mature trees. Nearby is the Aphrodite Hills Golf Club (Par 71 - 6,855 yards) designed by Cabell Robinson another fine example of a championship course built on two plateaux which has spectacular views of the sea.

The Kathikas area

The property is located less than 1km from the traditional village of Kathikas where you will find numerous restaurants all offering excellent food and friendly atmospheres. In the vicinity you will find two famous wineries producing ranges of wines, visitors are made very welcome and invited to "sample" their products.

Kathikas has its own information centre. In fact you are situated in an ideal location to visit lots of the west of the island from Paphos harbour, the Akamas, Polis and Latchi, Argaka and beyond, giving you the best of both worlds to explore the island.

In the height of summer, when temperatures can soar up to and beyond 40 degrees, Kathikas has lower humidity and, at a higher altitude, is slightly cooler than the coast, making your relaxation time more pleasant. Gentle breezes will sweep over the hill and down the valley through the vineyards to the coast.
