Kastela apartments are located in a traditional old stone house which has been refurbished recently. We did our best to preserve the typical character of Dalmatian architecture on the outside, however the apartments are modern and equipped to a good standard on the inside. Great for couples.
There are four apartments in total, which can be rented individually (ideal for couples) or for groups of up to 8 people. Each apartment has a double bed and sleeps two people. Top floor (attic) apartment, the Blue studio, can accommodate two adults and a child, as there is a pull-out sofa bed in addition to a double bed.
The four apartments are decorated in different colour schemes:
- ground floor Yellow Studio (no balcony) - 1st floor Green Studio - 2nd floor Red Studio - 3rd floor (attic) Blue studio
Apartments are located on the sea front, literally 5m from the sea with unobstructed views, and about 50m from the nearest beach (which can be seen while standing on the balcony!).
Split, Croatia's second largest city and capital of Dalmatia Region, is only 25 min away by local bus, and so is Trogir, another beautiful resort going North from Kastela.

The Dalmatia region
The Kaštela region with its Mediterranean charm, picturesque landscape and the unique composition of natural beauties was attracting people since ancient times: from Greek sailors, roman Patricians, Croatian kings and rulers and Venetian royals to the present lovers of sun, sea and mysterious legacies from the past.
Once an ancient Greek port, a stopover point for Roman veterans and a summer place for Croatian kings is today a tourist resort, carrying the same name. Along its long sandy beach there are terraces and viewpoints, tennis and other sports grounds, surrounded by greenery of pine and tamari trees.
Kaštela people today live off vineyards, orchards and vegetable gardens. The industrial zone has developed as well, and Split Airport is nearby.
Seven old settlements formed around the castles built in the 15th and 16th century by nobility and clergy: Kaštel Štafilić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sućurac.

The attractions of Kaštel Kambelovac include nice beaches, authentic Dalmatian restaurants, a beautiful seaside promenade and the nearby hill Kozjak – hillwalkers heaven.
Short airport transfer (approx. 15 min) and excellent location between Split and Trogir make this fishing village a relaxing yet very convenient holiday destination.
The village centre is some 100 metres away, with a small grocery shop and a couple of bars and restaurants.

Further details indoors: Studio apartments, consisting of one main room with bed and dining area with kitchenette and a separate bathroom with shower. All apartments are equipped with SAT TV, hair dryer, Air-Conditioning, etc.
Ground floor (Yellow) and first floor (Green) apartments have a separate entrance, while second and third floor apartments share a common entrance into the building - this may be suitable for a family.
Further details outdoors: Parking is usually not a problem, and is available on street, right by the building.

Kindly note that a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to guarantee your booking; the balance can be paid before or on arrival.

Use of air conditioning is not included in the price of apartments and is payable locally (optional) at the rate of EUR40/week.
